It has been a solid 18 days since I've posted something on this site, and it would've been less than 18 if I had had the time to do this when I originally wanted to. So let's cut to the chase because this is VERY IMPORTANT and I NEED your f...

Ok, What The Heck!?

This is going to become annoying...

I just got back from running some errands, I pop open my laptop and every page I turn I get this message that says

"Please Use a Modern Browser."

That, and I need a new laptop, this one has got some mileage on it, and it shows...

Didn't see that coming, did you?

Y'know what, neither did I!

Unbeknownst to me, Dad does have internet connection, so it's almost like I've ever left TheO!

Except, I'm kinda not going to be on much, but I'll try to redo FLCL Week next week if I can, but the likelihood is small.

Nevertheless, I just want to let y'all know that I'm here and while I won't be doing much during the day for the next 2 weeks, if y'all are bored, Skype me or something. Send me a PM, maybe if I find some time I'll do art requests because right now I'm kinda not doing anything, at least till my brother gets back.

What To Look Forward To:
- Maybe more artwork if I can concentrate during the day. I've been waking up super late but I get stuff done while I'm here.
- NOTICE; I am now on the Central Time Zone in the US so to my friends on the Eastern Time Zone, I miss you guys an hour ahead!
- Sparse FLCL Posts
- Anime commentaries. I brought some anime and movies, plus we do rent a lot of movies over here so we usually watch a movie or handful of anime episodes every night.
- VLOGS? I don't know, I might do a VLOG because we're taking a road trip soon and I want to pass the time.

Granted, this is all if I dedicate my time to TheO because I've come here to be a bit more active in regards to my physicality and I want to read some of these books that I've brought, so I'm here but I'm also not here.

This post has bee awkward as usual.

Love Y'all

Acts of God

Before I get into the topic of this post, I do have to make some quick mentions.

So I will not be leaving next week, I will be leaving THE WEEK AFTER NEXT...
In essence I will be here for FLCL Week, but I don't know if I'll really be able to pull off a discussion board or anything like that but we'll see if that's true or not (The Pillows reference, love it!) when that time comes. So you get to see your buddy for the next week. Now let's move on!

Lately I've been getting back into reading my bible, I try to read 5 chapters a day and I'm starting from the book of Exodus and as far as the future, I don't necessarily know where I'm going form there.
My idea is to study the Old Testament to get some context into the New Testament because every time I read it I feel like I miss it.
The reason I'm doing this is because, to be honest, going to church hasn't had the same affect on me.

I don't mean to talk down on my church, but lately I've found it difficult to sit through sermons because I don't see them applying to my life as much and with a lot of us leaving the church, I feel as if there are/were some things that could've been done a lot better. However I won't forsake learning on my own for a bad communal experience...It's like refusing to study because you hate school, y'know, how much sense does that make?

But yes, so far its been sort of paying off because I've been caught in some very serendipitous situations that I feel have some divine influence to them.

I had an ROTC thing to go to, and my impression was that I had to go at 6:00 in the afternoon, when in fact I had to show up at 6:00 in the morning.
I was doing my semi-daily run up to the school track and saw Sr. Chief, he saw me and told me to come inside the building (even though I'm "technically" not supposed to be there) and he fixed up my uniform and gave me the correct time.

Afterwards, we went to the function and the way it was looking, I might've had to ask Sr. Chief if he could take me home because:
A) It would be highly unsafe and impractical for me to walk all the way home in my ROTC Uniform (foots would have blisters for days)
B) We would have come back to school at straight up noon, which would've meant that I might've had to stay inside the school even though I'm not supposed to, which would've really been bad if my aunt caught wind of it, because she is adamant about me not being near the school...Granted her reasons don't make much sense, but that's not the point.

HOWEVER, we went out to eat and my grandmother showed up and was able to take me home.
Now that may just be a serendipitous situation or a fortunate turn of events, but I call it divine intervention because:
a) I had no foresight of it
b) There was a tad bit of worry about how the day would end on a good note for me

Call me crazy if you want, but overall things have been playing out in a way that's "Too-Good-To-Be-True" and that is what divine intervention is...Something that is too good or too perfect to make normal sense.

As of late I've also been a lot more relaxed, and by relaxed, I mean calm, but not to the point where I start getting lazy or slacking off.
Usually I'd be either super paranoid or too lazy to twitch, and the narrowing of those extremes shows a bit of spiritual growth in my opinion.

I just had to get that off my chest,
Love y'all

A King's Leave

It's that time, buddies.

FLCL Week is around the corner...
With life being the way it is, I will not really be around TheO for FLCL Week, so that is definitely a shame, and I hadn't really had the time to keep up our FLCL Week tradition, so it is rather sad that FLCL Week won't be a thing this year, but please keep the spirit alive and rejoice in the forthcoming of Seasons 2 and 3 of FLCL coming later this decade.

Let's hope that The Pillows are coming back for the soundtrack, and I think they are coming back, so keep it up with the Runner's High my FLCL Fans.

Love y'all
