June 2009 Q&As

These are the June 17, 2009 Dir en grey mobile Q & As. Credit to Risu at Orchestrated-chaos.com for the translation :D

Subject: Shinya-san

What do you do to kill time while traveling during the tour?
I am very curious so please tell us!

Shinya: Around 5 years ago I found the rubik's cube which was popular with me
and I started it again.
No matter what I can't complete the 6 sides within 3 minutes and it always seems that I can break it.
And what's more since I do it too much everyday, my fingers hurt.

Subject: To Toshiya-san

I am only a middle school student but there is a girl that I like whom I can't confess to.
What should I do?

Toshiya: Do your best! (laughs)

Subject: To Die-san

I believe that Die-san has a lot of heroic tales about being drunk but if the were any new heroic tales or interesting incidents in recent years please share it with us!

Die: I sort of...finished a Tokyo 18 hour alcohol stamina drinking race

Subject: To Kaoru-san

Great job on the tour.
The distribution of the fixed cash handout has already been decided, if Kaoru-san receives the cash stipend what are you going to use it for?

Kaoru: Dream Jumbo

Translator's Notes:
The "Dream Jumbo" is a lottery held in June every year. Tickets cost only 300 yen each. Prizes include 40 top prizes worth 200 million yen and 120 second prizes worth 100 million yen. There are 80 prizes worth 50 million yen for combinations one figure off the winning sequence. With winning odds of 1 in 9, and a total cash payout reaching over US$531.8 Million, Japan Summer Jumbo Draw is the richest Lottery in Asia.

To battle the recession this year, the Japanese government is giving out 12,000yen cash stipends to every single working person living in Japan.

Subject: To Kyo-san

For Kyo-san, what is to be alive?

Kyo: Groping in the dark/searching blindly each day

Die's English Message for The Lowdown

It's been a while since I've posted here! Anyway, I was browsing and found this: Die's English message for The Lowdown. His first sentence is hard to understand, but the rest is surprisingly well spoken (to me anyway XD). He looks very nervous XD he keeps swaying around....and I love teh fact that his voice gets like 20 times deeper. hahaha...

Glass Skin 10.9.08

The newest Dir en Grey single "Glass Skin" was released on September 10th, and for all of you who have given up on dir en grey after their previous album, i know many did, I hope that you listen to their new single. I was VERY surprised at how good it was. Addicted-to-jrock even said "this is the reason I fell in love with them". It's very redeeming for them.

Take a listen and tell me what you think.
