Long ago, a mother and daughter lived together.
Every time the girl would say that she wants to find her father that abandoned them, the mother would plant a thorn bush around the house. As time went on the house became surrounded by thorn bushes.
And the girl started hating her mother as much as the thorn bush grew, to the point she wished her mother dead.
One day her mom died of an ashame disease, and the girl realize that she loved her mother.
The villagers around believed that if you put the flower that the dead loved next to their grave, they would be born again as that flower.
However the only plant that the mother loves was the thorn bush. And it broke the girls heart that her mother would be reborn into a flower less bush.
So the girl begged in tears for the thorn bush to stab her and use her blood to make a flower.
At that moment, the thorn bush penetrated the girl and used her blood to make a scarlet flower and so the girl died.
