well thursday night was our ceremony for all the new members, we earned the right to don on our armor and practice among all the seniors and our sensei, to be honest it was a really great feeling being able to stand side by side with everyone and earning our badges. so after 2 hours of intense training we are officially recognized as full members of our dojo, our sensei personally handed us our badges and we were all proud of what we have accomplished. and after our ceremony we headed out and celebrated hahahaha was a great feeling

blah blah blah .............. SCOOTER!!!
so yeah, i had my birthday party last week friday with my classmates and friends, and im surprised to see that my friends leave my party first and my classmates stayed, now i know who is my true friends and such, but i wasnt gona let that bring me down so i was like fuck it, if you guys want to leave then leave, i will just enjoy my dinner/party with my classmates, and so we partied till like 3 am in the morning, tho riding a moped while drunk isnt a good idea since i didnt go in a straight line, well technically none of us did anyways, some were riding bikes and mopeds so its kinda funny watching 10-15 people going in a zig-zag formation, good thing that there werent any people at the campus during that time. but anyways i had a good time so im happy, and tomorrow is my official birthday since it was on a tuesday i couldnt hold the birthday on a weekday.
recent update on my life
well it seems like its been a long time since i last posted something on theO
lets see, well last weekend i went with my kendo club to camp, we had so much fun doing things together, singing, playing, eating and drinking with everyone, really enjoyed it, they held a welcoming party for us new members which means me and a couple of others, and they even celebrated my birthday with a cake which was quite surprising because i told them earlier on that my birthday is in november and i never expected them to remember which was really heart moving, i feel like my kendo group is my family away from home, its not the same feeling you get from friends, even tho i dont see my kendo friends often, i feel like we are one big family. anyways after celebrating my birthday and welcoming us all to the club we went to drink for the night and we sang karaoke we received our kendo club jackets as well (will put the pic up later on) its a shame that i'll probably just be here for 1 year but the memories i got from that night will always be remembered, and i hope that i'll meet them one day again on the tournament grounds for the kendo championships and that we dont meet as strangers or enemies, but as fellow kendo practitioners and who knows maybe have a drink afterwards, but i will surely miss them when i leave china.
anyways thats what happened on the weekend, the upcoming weekend is my birthday dinner and party so i'll be hosting a place to have dinner and party later on with my friends, so technically this would be my second birthday celebration since my kendo club already celebrated first. but its always nice to have a birthday with friends, i hope it will be a wonderful evening and that everything goes well.

i never knew that a guy can be too nice for a girl haha oh well at least the saying is true, nice guys finish last haha
but oh well, there's plenty of fishes in the sea, i will find the right girl one day :P
