Welcome to the World of Korey/Kaydirt.

I update randomly and in many cases not too often. But stick around. It might be more fun as we go along.

If you want to know who I am, then take some time to read my posts, you might learn a thing or two. Otherwise, either PM me or seek me in the Community Chat. I'm somewhere on here, lurking about.

What Happened?

Ah the sweet music of Sublime. Mellow sounding, but lyrically, very wtf inducing . I love their 40 oz. to Freedom Album. I listen to it while I do work sometimes. Makes time fly by rather quickly. Also, whatever happened to the Writer's Bl...

All that She Wants

Ace of Base. They basically epitomized how you can take the same rhythm line from songs and change the tempo slightly and add some different synth effects and get a Billboard chart hit. Don't ask me why it came up on iTunes. Not even I know why I downloaded it at this point.

Interesting development for me. I feel like garbage every time I eat something. Am I allergic to eating now? I had a bowl of cereal this morning and I felt nauseated. I had the same feeling when I finished dinner the night before. How can this be? I hope I'm not coming down with something.

In other news, life is busy, as usual. Work, school, moar werk, moar skewl. Somehow I fit in being able to watch America's Best Dance Crew in there. The finale is tonight and for some reason, I feel compelled to watch it. I never watched a lick of the first two seasons, but I've watched almost the entire season of this run. So I have to finish it. ._.

Also, I'm planning to head to the bookstore today and getting some very important materials that should help augment my academic prowess that have nothing to do with buying clothing items for a person that I may or may not have relations with.

After the Dust Settles

We're all still alive? Good.

Just checkin.

To the Utah Crew:

I'll be the one to call my foul here and I'm willing to say that I'm at fault for calling people out when the issue obviously meant something greater to you guys and that personal blogs will be just that. We're all certainly guilty of ranting on our own blogs, but it's better than taking it out on the members. I do think that we are all human and sometimes our feelings get in the way of our judgements and may cause us to assess situations improperly.

If you feel that I'm trying to hide behind anything, then you're dead wrong. I'm willing to say I'm at fault and I will take blame for whatever happened to you guys. I'm sorry that had to happen and I'm sorry I was attached to this. You won't ever see this kind of behavior from me again. I'm not so bold or stupid as to believe that I'm am beyond the rules and that I hide behind my position in defending myself. I am not that much of a coward.

So the egg is on my face and my foot is planted firmly in my mouth.

My bad.

People Amaze me sometimes...

No song title today. Sorry. I've got something to discuss.

When do you draw the line on something that bugs you? How do you draw it? How much maturity do those situations call for? When do you take a step back and realize that you are just as much a target as you are the shooter?

I prank people, and sometimes I take it too far. But,I have enough respect to stop when asked to. I don't ever prank people out of malice or just to hurt their feelings. I'm always lighthearted. But sometimes when people pull the snob switch on me and act like they're beyond pranking, then it really ticks me off.

For those who aren't acquainted with the UBlah fiasco. Boo and I hacked out a thing about our fellow moderators that hail from the Beehive State. It was a simple prank that meant no harm. We made banners and sported them on Otakuboards. I ribbed someone ONCE about it and I get my face bit off for it. Now in Darren's defense, he had seen a lot of heckling about it and he was obviously frustrated with it. I'm not so stupid as to keep antagonizing or argue over it, but when I see fellow moderators (you know who you are) saying they're gonna kick for something like that, that's just unacceptable.

We need to, as moderators project an image of professionalism. We are people too, and things will annoy us, but we need to stay cool under fire and realize the audience that we service. They are young and they bandwagon easily. So if you allow yourself to crack under that sort of thing and lash out, then you're really no better than the people who make fun of you. So stay cool.

And that's all I've had to say about that.

Island in the Sun

We'll be playin and havin fun. And it makes me feel so fine, I can't control my brain. Contrary to what my mother thinks, I'm actually capable of cooking. Today my brother and I decided to cook for my grandma. We got stuff for tacos and it...
