Welcome to the World of Korey/Kaydirt.

I update randomly and in many cases not too often. But stick around. It might be more fun as we go along.

If you want to know who I am, then take some time to read my posts, you might learn a thing or two. Otherwise, either PM me or seek me in the Community Chat. I'm somewhere on here, lurking about.

Day N' Nite

Kid Cudi is actually one of the few new rappers that has a unique sound these days. In the age of fly breezies and tricked out whips, it's nice to see someone that can rap but can also produce music. The beat to Day N' Nite is very catchy to me.

You know what the best feeling in the world is? When you're finally at peace with yourself and all the wounds you had in your soul and your heart can finally be closed. Closure is a big thing for most people. I won't go into detail, but I love this feeling. It's not the feeling of pure joy, but knowing that everything will be just fine.

Man, that's rather sappy of me '_'

But I've only got about two more weeks of college left. One more, actually since my teachers are being lazy and giving us our finals beforehand. So I'll be able to sit back and relax for a good long time. I just wonder what I'm going to be doing all summer. I need a job, that's for sure.

I might be going to a concert fest that starts tomorrow. It's sponsored by our college radio station and it goes through tomorrow and Saturday. So I might be working for that. But while I'm doing that, make sure to check the front page of my newspaper and see who's got the lead story.

Have a good day everyone, happy Thursday.

Lifeline

Another Papa Roach song, this one's off their newest album, which I picked up at the concert. Not bad, but I still like "Getting Away with Murder" better.

I seem to be picking up subs all over the place and the thing is, I don't know like the last few people who subbed to me. I can't tell if it's a "Hey I subbed to you now sub to me" sort of thing or an effort to stalk me, but either way...it' made me go ô_ó this morning. I guess I'm getting more popular? Dunno....but it's creepy.

Sorta.

Ugh, I'm tired. Played Street Fighter IV with some friends last night and came home to do homework. I have a test on Friday and I'm so looking forward to spending 20 mins of my time to take a test after driving for 40 mins to get to school. It'll be a super KAWAII start to my Friday.

I really need another vacation.

Blurb,
Korey

We're Jumping onto White Base

AHHHH!

Kajetokun makes some pretty funny mixes of anime happenings, and I have just about every one of them on iTunes. Here's his youtube page if you're interested in seeing the insanity.

Kaj's page

So, amongst other things, I've realized that the media will always look towards selling papers/ getting ratings/ entertainment rather than really giving the news to people. I was convinced of this today while flipping through the Channels and stopping on ESPN. They were doing a mini-analysis of the guy who won the Masters . He hails from Argentina and has won on the PGA circuit before. However, the issue they were focusing on wasn't the fact that this man was a good athlete. Oh no. Instead they focused on the fact that he was Hispanic.

._.

I'm probably gonna sound ignorant when I say this, but who cares if the man was Hispanic or not? He's a great golfer that overcame over 100 others to win at one of Golf's most prestigious events. This man is a professional athlete and the color of his skin should not be taken into account when determining the impact of his win. It is history, yes, and it should be celebrated and remembered. But let's not beat it into the ground.

Blah. Humbug.

Go watch Ryu jump onto White Base.

Getting Away with Murder

Papa Roach song. I saw them Saturday. Good show.

Anyways, allow me a rant.

Why the hell are people so quick to judge? Honestly, I don't understand how a person's actions, no matter how upsetting they can be (save for a few things, like serial murder or rape), can identify them as a person.

Case in point, THIS POST. More specifically, the comments left on them. Something that really gets my goat is when people jump on a train of thought without no introspective look at themselves and say "Wait, do I do this?"

Long story short, Iruka Sensei did a bad thing by creating so many dummy accounts. She is paying her punishment and she accepts it. My frustration lies within the comments.

"But Raina and I cant figure out why people do so much to gain popularity on the internet."

"Why people need to do this baffles me. I guess out of a desire for popularity...but sheesh -- I don't post crap, and I'm genuinely well-liked on here...at least, I think I am."

Seriously people, are we that ignorant as to call someone out on this and show disdain towards them and overlook the fact that EVERYONE has more than likely done something to be popular or gain attention? It's human nature to want to be accepted. And sometimes you do things to make that accepting feeling come about. Getting a new hair cut, buying new clothes, going out of your way to impress a loved one, losing weight...etc. You're not gonna be the way you are 100% of the time. Some time within your life, you have done something to gain acceptance of your peers.

I challenge you to prove me wrong. I guarantee you it's pretty damn hard to find some that individualistic.

I have respect for most everyone that I come into contact with on a constant basis, but when it's the pot calling the kettle black, I really start to lose respect for those people. It's hypocritcal and quite honestly, it makes you seem like a ignorant dumbass.

I'm being very preachy here, but I am certainly guilty of both actions myself. I'm not perfect but I really hate it when people do this sort of thing. I'm not saying don't have your opinion, I'm just saying your opinion is biased and stupid.

I don't really mean to call people out on most things, but when I notice a trend of rather ignorant or stupid remarks, regardless of your supposed intent, I will bring it up. And I'm through being nice about it.

You think you're holier than thou and can preach your greatness to others, fine. Just don't come near me with it.

And yes I didn't shorten the post. I want you to read.

Awe of She

This one is actually from a game. Guilty Gear. It's one of the most technical (if not THE most technical) 2D fighters in existence. And it has a heavy metal soundtrack. So it gets lots of points. Arc really created a gem there.

Speaking of GG, I have been playing it a lot recently. I've taken time to really focus on it and learn the game more. It's certainly not easy, because a lot of the finer points of the game include really precise timing and execution. At this point, I could throw a lot of technical fighter babble at you, but you wouldn't understand, so I'll leave it at this.

Soul Calibur has nothing on Guilty Gear.

The weather here has been rather peculiar as of late. It'll be windy or really sunny and hot. The windy days are the worst, because you can't do things outside. I've been wanting to get out a bit more and can't, because it's so windy. *tear*

Seems like I just got back from Spring Break when I get another one thanks to the Easter holiday. I'm all for celebrating Easter, but I think it's rather sudden to have ANOTHER break right after this one. But I guess I'll do something.

But life is back to normal. No GF means lots of boring days. Very Routine. Very Boring.

*doom and gloom*
