Any ideas?
I am having a hard time deciding where Konstantine and Angus should look for Sarasa next. So I would like some ideas, and you can just leave em in the comments below.
They can go anywhere interesting, preferably a certain time period and/or country. For example, right now I have them in medeival Europe. They could go to present day America, or during the Renaissance in Italy, or something like that. Anything that'll create a good plot and subject matter to work off of. 
So go crazy! (this is starting to bizarrely sound like a challenge, but actually I just want some ideas. And maybe I'll even choose more than one.) 
The Plot
Okay.....the plot was mostly explained during the character introductions but here I'll clarify things, starting from the beginning.
Okay, so all the people are all called Shadow-Hunters. They fight the shadows and everything that comes out of them. (mostly animals) but Augustine is an example of a strong human shadow creature.. So when I talk about partners, I mean that the Shadow Hunters have to work in pairs to ensure safety. Konnie does not abide to this rule, however, and that is why after two years of fighting by herself, she got paired with Angus. The partners also have to wear somewhat similar clothing, which remains as their uniform until they reach 16 and get a different one. The uniforms they yahave to wear do NOT look like fighting clothing, but I just decided to get creative there and make it nonsensical. 
Konstantine studies and works for a place called the Academy. The Academy takes in young shadow hunters (about twelve years old) and trains them until they are about 18. Konnie, Sarasa, and Vachella are all really skilled so they got put in the Academy when they were about ten. Sarasa knows that there is something suspicious going on at the Academy. She noticed how all the teachers and employees are now talking in hushed voices, about how "He" is coming. One day, while in the library, a monk whom works there left early, leaving Sarasa alone in the dark. Curious, she went to his office and found two books titled "the Rubyait of Omar Kayam" and "The Academy: A History." she reads up on both and sees how they are connected. Now she suddenly knows who "He" is, and she wants nothing to do with it. Now, when Sarasa runs away, she rips her clothing and she suddenly gets a necklace (that she can never take off or hide) virtually from the Academy to symbolize she is a runaway. When Angus and Konnje follow, they too get the eye necklace of the runaways. and then they go on a quest (to seek the Holy Grail!) (lol no not really) to find Sarasa, even if it could take years.
Konnie wants to find Sarasa because she knows she has been acting strangely so she wants to find out why. She thinks it could involve the fate of the Academy and everyone in it.
Character Introductions
Okay, so this is a list of characters of which will be included in my manga "Konstantine"
Konstantine [main character] her goal in the plot is to find her run-away best friend, Sarasa. Konstantine, she refers to herself as Konnie, is a very independent girl. She does not like people who get in her way or doubt her. She hates boys, and is very skilled in her field. Has purple hair, magenta eyes, and often wears clothes decorated with lace or triangles.
Angus [male lead] He was paired with Konnie on a whim when he fell in love with his previous partner, Genevere. Angus can speak many languages and is often blurting out random Latin phrases. He has black hair, blue eyes, and often wears a turtleneck mask that hides his mouth and nose.
Sarasa- she ran away from the Academy (a training place for young shadow animal hunters) when her mother disowned her to save her blind sister, Tamaka. She is Konnies best friend, and the reason why she is going on a quest to find her. She has blonde hair, wide, scared eyes, and wears ripped clothing and a necklace with a eye charm on it to symbolize her escape and freedom of the Academy.
Vachella- She was Sarasa's partner before she ran away. All that was left was two notes, the one that her mother wrote her, and a goodbye letter of resignation that she wrote herself. Vachella wanted to come with Konnie and Angus but she got caught by one of the employees of the Academy, saying that they should never travel in odd numbers. She has short blonde hair, a spunky attitude, and wears a hot pink dress.
Genevere- Angus' old partner. They weren't allowed to fall in love, for love would only blur their work in hunting shadow animals. So the Organization (runs the Academy) deported Genevere to a village that resembles the medeival Europe. Then, when Sarasa went missing, they were going to deport her to be Vachella's partner. They entrusted Angus to Konnie, being full aware of her hatred of boys. But Angus and Genny were soon reunited when Konnie searched in the village for Sarasa. Has orangish golden hair, huge eyes with long eyelashes, and wears a long pink skirt.
Justinian- King Justinian is the love interest for Konnie. She meets him while in the medeival village, and he immediately fell for her beauty and strong wit. Konnie wished to ask him where she might find her friend, so in repay for his phsychic readings, he asked for her hand in marriage. She couldn't help but fall for him, too. He wears a hood often, and his throne, clothing, and servants all have a symbol of a star.
Augustine- He is a carrier of the black plague, and is basically an earthly Satan. He believes he is a reincarnation of the Decil himself, and in a way he is correct. He always has horned atop his curly black hair, and he can shoot the plague from his hands, killing people quickly, or sometimes taking an agonizing week. Some of his other forms is a horned snake, a horned rat, and a horned salamander. He causes quite a bit of mischief in the relationship between Konnie and Justinian, by killing Justinian and threatening Konnie to be HIS wife.
