You seem like a very interesting person. You sound open-minded and enlightened when it comes to knowing yourself and making the best of what is at hand. Those are very admirable characteristics. I have been meaning to start something at My Otaku, but never have. Now, thanks to knowing people like you frequent MyOtaku, I have decided to do it sooner than later.
I feel the same way about my dogs right now! They are more like family members than pets to me. I have a German Shepherd named "Shadow" cause he literally is my shadow. lol And an albino Siberian Husky named "Kiba" after the main wolf from the anime Wolf's Rain. It was after I named her that I found out that kiba means fang, which is awesome. lol I'm just curious since I don't know too much about cars even though I love them, is your '69 a fastback? Cause those are the best looking kind of mustangs. My fav muscle car would have to be the '69 Charger RT. Those cars are too badass! But my real baby that I own is an '88 Ford Bronco 4X4, I absolutely love that truck.
Your son's situation is unfortunate, but just keep hanging in there and trying your best to see this through. One thing I have learned from helping my sister fight cancer, is that overcoming any obstacles thrown at you with a strong and committed mind brings you closer to your dreams becoming reality. She is so close to being in remission
that we can feel it. I know that a person like you will see your son live a healthier life. I wish you the best.
I know a girl my age named Hailey. Her heart was different too. She had an extra valve or something in her heart and she always had to skip class to have doctors see her. She had lots of surgeries, but it kept growing back.
It seems as though 1 out of every 10 or 20 kids has a problem. My brother has epilepsy. Its hard, but after a while I'll get used to it.
Just keep praying and I'll pray with you.

I appreciate your sharing your dream (to see your son have a normal heart) and those things that are most important to you (God, your family, friends...). I hope one day the Lord heals your son. Christine, don't forget who we serve: we serve the Almighty One, maker of heaven and earth! I know the Lord wants your son to be whole, but His timing is out of our hands. The only thing we can do is wait and actively trust in Him! *hugs* Put your trust in God, my friend. ^_^
