I was at school...and skipping a very boring class...I was laying on the roof-top, a sunny day in the north of Tokyo (sunny for a winter day)...I was throwing up and down an apple from a bunch that was surrounding me; then I threw one straight up...very high and something caught it ‘cause it stopped right there in the air, I could see the shape of it...
“Long time no see...Ryuk...”
The shinigami came down on the roof while devouring the apple.
“Hey J.J-chan...Have more?”
“Always greedy...yes I have if you are willing to talk...”
“Okay...”
“Getting bored again no?...have a new owner or just taking a long walk through the human realm?”
“You already know everything...why ask me? I want another one...can I?”
“Sure” I throw him another one, from the bunch.
“Who’s is it?”
“What?...the Note?...I don’t know I found it.” said Ryuk
“Liar...you found it before me?”
“Well I was around when it lost the Note...”
“You stole it...”
“No...”
“Okay...that is fine with me, but I’m warning you, I’ll keep an eye on you...”
“Yeah...sure like always...” and then he took some more apples from the ground and flew away.
“Hey I’m not done with you! Don’t you run, you...”
“You’re not done...with who?” said Rei from the door...
“Damn! for how long was she standing there...” I got up and looked at her very shocked...”Now I’ve done it, because I’m still a little tired I can not sense the people approaching me...damn...” then calmly I said “Did I said something?”
“Yes...” said Rei
“No I didn’t.”
“But I heard you...”
“No you didn’t...you heard nothing...understood?” I said a little irritated
“But...” Rai said kind of confused
“Did I said something?”
“Something...when?” asked Rei
“I don’t know...”
“Right...”
“Why did you came here?” I asked with the most innocent voice
“To tell you that class is over...it’s sport class now, you have to get changed...”
“Sure...I’ll be there in a minute...”
I heard Ryuk laughing... “Shut your mouth you idiot...”
While going down the stairs, Rei asked me:
“J-chan...did you ever got the feeling that you forgot to say or do something?”
“Yes...but if I forget, that means it’s not so important...”
“Yeah, perhaps you are right...”
“That was close, I hate to erase people’s memories while playing with their minds and I know it is forbidden to do it...but if I don’t have a choice...”

So here is a small meeting between 2 "old friends". Here is the first time J.J shows a little more of the power she possesses. Oh and I moved the date a little...so it's already February ^_____^

On a rooftop near SK’s place, Minami was watching Yami how he works his “magic”
“The way he is killing...by using the Note, very original my friend...but you made quite a mess lil’ man, all this blood made by one little Note and a pen...” he smiled and then lighted another cigar... “Damn this is boring, to hell with all of you.” He saw SK putting something on the door step...a note, after that he saw a woman approaching... “hmmmm...what do we have here? The lil’ lady, is she gonna go to your place and you two have some fun...” Minami saw SK talking to that woman, she took the note from the door step. “I can hear them, if I want, but if I hear something not good, I still have to report to the Mistress and she won’t like it, I don’t make the Mistress mad about a stupid misunderstanding.” He saw SK and the woman going in the direction of SK’s house. “So you two really are going to his place...interesting.” Minami followed them jumping from rooftop to rooftop until he arrived at SK’s building rooftop...and then Minami sensed something different in the air...or someone....
“What the...” he said out loud because he saw someone already sitting on another rooftop in front of him, that person approached him and was only a few feet away. When he realized who it was...he said pissed:
“This is not good...”
“Yes indeed, Miss has to know about this.” said the person not so surprised.
“Yup and fast.” Said Minami. “So this is your target...hmmmm nice...”
“Stop fooling around and let’s go already, Miss has to know.” said Nishi.
“Hai hai, wakarimashita yo...”
The last thing they saw was SK and the woman who went in his building.
Meanwhile, I was on the sofa eating some dark chocolate, when I heard the door, I turned around to see who was it and said “Someone is home.” I said to myself.
“Okaeri...nasai?” I was with a piece of chocolate from the bar half in my mouth almost falling...(I don’t eat from a bar very often)
“Tadaima Mistress, you look very nice with with that chocolate bar in your hand, it reminds me of the boy, nice boy he was.” Minami was talking about Mello, he king of liked Mello, because he was nothing like Light, but he kept his opinions for himself. I ignored what he said, but coudn’t avoid blushing a little, I don’t usually blush because of dead people...
“What the hell are you two doing home..and at the SAME time?!” I yelled. Silence from both of them. “Oh...I get it...naughty, naughty, gone on a date?”
“I wish...” said Minami
“The targets meet, Miss.” said Nishi totally ignoring what I was saying.
“...you don’t say...well faster than I thought.” I said ironically
“People are getting desperate...” said Minami
“So no date?” I asked again getting off the topic.
“Unfortunately no, this is a dream for me Mistress...” said Minami going along with my little game.
“Nishi?” I asked
“We are not here to discuss personal problems.” she said obviously angry
“Who said anything about being personal and I didn’t mentioned that this was a problem either.” I said. Silence...Minami looked at Nishi and she looked at me, I couldn’t tell if she was blushing or not because of her scarf that covered most of her face.
“Gotcha!” I said laughing. “So..for how long are you two together?” Nishi was just irritated by my affirmation.
“This isn’t what it looks like! In the name of Allah, stop saying nonsense things Miss...our targets met, not us...” said Nishi. Me and Minami was very amused by her reaction; I just love teasing Nishi, ‘cause sometimes she is more serious than my mother...
“And are they dating?”
“How should I know, they barely know each other...” said Nishi
“She meant to say that we don’t know, yet.” said Minami, trying to calm things down for Nishi.
“Well make sure they don’t! ‘cause love between those two is not in my plans, got it?” I said
“Yes Miss” said Nishi
“Yes Mistress” said Minami
“Now, you two go back to work and keep an eye on those two, because I want to know everything, but remember don’t get too close I don’t want you to be seen” I said
After I finished my chocolate bar I took my books and drum sticks and went to night practice, while I was moving twards the car I was thinking “They met faster than I thought, is Yami getting desperate? He’s making mistakes already and I don’t like it...maybe I should talk to him, not now, but soon.” I was by the car by the time I finished my plans.
“Ojosama?..shall we go?” asked Higashi with a worry in his voice like “Is everything okay?” or something like that.
“Yes, we shall.” I said while opening the car’s door.
Minami and Nishi were already back on the rooftop where they have met, for quite a while...they didn't miss too much. Minami said something interesting, like he could see through the walls at SK and the woman.
“Hmmm...lil’ lady, helping him with his keys ‘cause he is injured...”
“Kaori” said Nishi like she continued a lost sentence...
“What?...” asked Minami
“Her name is Kaori, not “lil’ lady", “woman” or what ever you call her...” said Nishi
“Kaori, cool name...for a killer...” Minami said sarcastically
" Are you alright? "
"...yes Mrs. Kaori I'm fine..."
...
...
“A knife?...foolish boy” said Minami, after that he looked at Nishi while he was walking away. “They will meet tomorrow...she’ll bring bento.”
“Are you listening to everything they are saying?” Nishi asked
“The Mistress did say she wanted to know everything” Minami said, but Nishi didn't said a thing. “Look your lil' lady...I mean Kaori is going home...”
“It seams our work here is done.” said Nishi
“Yeah...nice chatting with ya, I’m off home...he’s asleep...” said Minami
“I’ll follow her a little longer, until she gets home, just to be sure.” said Nishi
"Okay, see ya...and Nishi...” said Minami. She was about to go too, but she turned around and said.
“Yes? What is it?”
“Sorry about what happen earlier, at Mistress’s house...” but when he looked at that place where Nishi suppose to be, she was already gone...
“...hm...that woman...” said Minami amused...

The 26th of January, Friday
Again I have slept for 3 days...no school, just sleep and no bad dreams either...well no dreams at all...that is kind of boring. I’m feeling very good today, my body is completely healed up, no tiredness lies in it anymore...I could sleep longer, but no, I had to wake up...because today is a very special day for me.
No school today. Today I’ll visit an old friend, I’m doing this for 10 years now and I’m gonna do it until the end of time. Every year at this date I visit the ruins of the church where you died, it’s always full of flowers everywhere you look, all kinds of flowers, from across the world...it’s the least I could do for you...Mello. Rest in Peace my dear Mihael Keehl...
The night of the 27th of January, Saturday, 23:40
In Shinjuku it was raining with thunders and lightnings...the lights gone out...and they got back again...I was on the sofa playing absent with Asahi...and thinking of...
“So this is how your day is going to start...with a heavy rain...or this is just to wash all the evil away, although you are not in this world anymore, you still do a great job in caring...”
Minami and Nishi were in the living room with me, he was smocking like always and she was reading a passage from the Coran. Kita and Lasuto were still on the field, doing the last round and Higashi was resting in his room. After a long silence Minami said
“So...tomorrow is the day...”
I couldn’t get a word out of my mouth.
“If in 10 minutes she doesn’t make a move we are so on...” Minami smiled very excited
It was like I wasn’t even in the room, or the room was empty...
“Mier...” I finally said a word...
“Yes J.J-sama”
“Are you watching the strings?”
“Yes miss, I always watch them...”
“Still nothing?”
“Nothing changed....yet, miss” after she said that she disappeared

The big clock from the holway started to anounce that it’s midnight...and the lights went out again....this time they didn’t come back...everyone was present...around me....we all waited for the clock to stop...

Sorry it took me so long to post the day of the 28th, but I was busy with school ^^, soon I'll post some more, but since then enjoy my lil' post.
Monday, a few days before the 28th of January
I don’t know why , but today I wanted to go by train and walk to school, after the deal Saturday night with Yami I slept over 30 hours and with Higashi and Asahi guarding me there were no bad dreams...
I was with Rei-chan and we were walking to school from the train station, it was very cold, I hate when it’s cold and plus we were both wearing our uniforms (for me it’s a first...I never wear uniforms). I don’t know how Rei was feeling, but I was freezing...”Damn I hate winter” I said to myself. Although I tried to tell her that I felt walking today, but it didn’t work, we ended up in a lil’ argument that I wasn’t in the mood for.
“I can’t believe you’re walking with me to school, and you’re not in your car.” said Rei
”It’s not that weird.” I said to her
”Maybe it won’t be, if you’ll tell me what made you to do it.”
”I don’t know..I just got a feeling that a walk will be good today...” I just did not want to tell her what really happen...she didn’t need to know
”A feeling? Like feeling hot?” she said, trying to make a joke.
”NOO! ...I said very pissed “What gave you the idea?” “What the hell is with her? I’m not in the mood to joke around” I think she saw me tensed and tried to joke, but it didn’t work, I was too distracted, I was worried...no I was anxious to see what will happen next...
”The train is faster.” she continued the conversation
”Really?” I asked in a sarcastic tone. “Then how about...” I couldn’t finish what I was about to say because of a scream, Rei ran to see who was in danger, a stupid thing to do...allies are very dangerous, I’ve decided to keep my distance.
”Oh my gosh, are you OK?” Rei asked the girl. I seemed it was a girl about Rei’s age and I think she was injured, Rei called me to help her with the girl, then I saw that the girl has a uniform just like mine...how weird.
"She must go to our school, look at the uniform!" Rei said to me...I looked at the girl “You’ve got to be kidding me...I don’t believe a thing” I said to myself, but I smiling sympathetically and said “All right then...I’ll play my part...no problem” "What's your name?" I asked the girl
"K-Kat..." she said while she sniffed.
“Kat?” I asked “Yeah right and my mother’s name is Maria Theresa...and it’s not, what ever..” I said to myself. I played my part well...asked her if she’s from our school, if she was new...and felt bad for her being injured “She didn’t answer my questions...hmmm...if she think she can fool me she better think again, if she was from our school I would have known, because I remember very well people’s faces and her...I never saw her in my life..” But when I was about to ask her some more questions...
"J-ch-chan..?" she said before she fainted.
“Just great, just what we needed...This is not enough, I need to know more about this girl, if I come to think of it I don’t know anything...” I said to myself. While Rei was desperate and didn’t know what to do first, I calmed her down and so I came up with a neat plan too. “Let’s take her to your place...”
“Eeeeee!!?? Why my home?” she asked me surprised. “Let’s take her to the school’s infirmary ..it’s not very far.”
“Today’s Monday remember?” I said "The infirmary is closed remember?" I said to myself...
“Oh, all right...I’ll call a cab” she agreed.
While we were waiting for the cab, Rei put the girl in a sitting position, I was still trying to keep a distance from Kat. When we were in the taxi I think Rei saw something in the way I was looking at the girl, because when we got to her place and Kat woke up, Rei began some sort of interrogation.
At Rei’s place....I was surprised to see that she had a nice house and that she lived alone. While Kat was still not waking up Rei dragged me into the kitchen and she made some tea.
”Don’t worry” she said “Shinigami will watch her.”
“Who?!” I almost dropped my cup...for a moment I thought she was talking about a real Death God, but explained to me that she was talking about her pet... ”Yeah...very normal...OMG she almost had me...my pet she said, like she was talking about a cat or a dog or a stupid normal size bird, but a raven...you got to be nuts...”
When Kat woke up, Rei gave her some tea and began very subtle some sort of interrogation, a lot of trick questions about our school, last week’s weather and a Japanese saying...”Hmm...very interesting, I didn’t know she could do that” I said to myself. Kat kind of screwed up every answer and once again proved to us that she is not who she claims to be...a normal 2nd year student at the Kagura Gakko. I think she was trying to get my attention to talk to her, but I was to aloof...I did not care...
After we sent Kat with the taxi Rei called...I said I was going back home, I lied. Rei went home too.
“Well then..take care!” she said to me
”You too!” I said, after I saw Rei gone I made a call. “Higasi?...Where are you? Come and pick me up, oh and bring Kita too, I have something for him to do. I will be at a coffee house near the school...in 15 minutes? Ok I’ll wait for you there. Ja ne!”
At the “Black Dress” coffee house, I was at a table with Kita and Higashi.
“Today I met a girl, she’s name is Kat and claims to be from my school, but I don’t think so, she’s definitely up to something.”
“And what would that be miss?” asked Kita curious
“I don’t know...that’s for you to find out.”
“Yes miss, finally something thrilling for me to do” he said “I’ll keep an eye on her”
“I want you to find out everything about her, who she really is, from where she is, where she is living right now, what she does and what the hell she wants from me.”
“Yes miss, I understand” Kita said very pleased
“Now, take me to school, ‘cause today I have practice and I don’t wanna miss it.”
“I’ll take you to school” said Higashi, like I was talking to someone else.
At Kagura Gakko I was at the lockers changing my shoes, someone was standing at the door watching me
“You’re late today...” that person said
“Yeah, it’s Monday, I’m bored already...” I replied
“Yo.” The person said while approaching me. I looked at him and smiled
“Hey Shinji”
This is Shinji Tachibane, he is in the 2nd year, in my class and he is the ijime (bully) of the school. I don’t know how I got to be on his good side, but it’s worth it, believe me, you don’t wanna mess with him. He is smart and very talented, he’s a vocalist and plays 3 instruments...he’s kind of an evil genius.
“And you took time to put your uniform, this is a first...” he laughed
“Yeah...I don’t know. It’s my father’s fault, he said something about me being an example to the school students *rolling my eyes* “cause you’re the daughter of the founder” he said, bla bla bla...”
Shinji laughed
“Well he is right...you are the cool girl of the school...what you’re wearing everybody’s wearing” Shinji said
“So skipping again?” I asked him
“The class is boring and while I was watching something more important outside, a spot I think, I saw your car so I came to say Hay” he said
“Wanna play some hockey while the boring class is over?”
“Sure” he answered
“Ok, let me change my shoes again and we’ll go.” I said.
While we were heading towards the hockey field Shinji said
“It’s going to be 26th soon. So I presume you’re not gonna attend school in the next few days...”
“Yup...26th of January...the day of your death, Mello... my Mello, I’ll always blame myself for not stopping you from going to your death...Near, I’ll always hate you and blame you too for sending Mello to his death and for you getting all the credits...” I think Shinji saw me kind of deep into my thoughts, because he said
“Are you all right?”
“Yes” and smiled “Let’s play ball.”

Saturday evening...one week before the 28th January
While we were walking towards his apartment I has a chance to look at him better...he was a very well made young man, I think in his 23 years old or may be younger, the black and red of his hair was very extravagant. I like the way he was walking. I think he’s going to be perfect as a KIRA. I said to myself. When we arrived he invited me in.
“Nice place you’ve got here, comfy and safe too.” I said while I looked around. He invited me to sit down on the couch...
“Please, have a seat.”
“No, thank you, I think I’ll stand...I can not stay in one place for too long, but as for you...what I’ve got prepared for you, you really need to sit down.” I said.
"Very well..." he looked at me and stayed where he was.
“Here it is.” I put the note on the table next to a remote control and between some magazines. It was a Death Note with nothing written on the cover. “This is what your Lord KIRA used to make justice.”
“A notebook?” he said disappointed.
“Yes, but this is no ordinary note, it’s a Shinigami’s notebook...a Death Note.”
“This is madness...it can not be possible...” he said
“What is impossible? To believe that Shinigami exist or that there is such a simple way to kill...” I asked
“Both...” he smiled, I smiled too.
“This Note here has rules just like a game...the very first rule sounds like this “The human whose name is written in this note shall die.”, but I must warn you before you use it, the human who uses the Death Note will never go to Heaven nor Hell, he will struggle for eternity into the Abyss. A Shinigami will tell you this only after you use it, because that is in their advantage, but I’m not that kind of person...”
He just stood and said nothing.
“It’s true, all I’ve said, trust me, so please don’t make the same mistake as your lord KIRA did and test it...”
“Is this a standard look for the Death Note?” he asked
“Most of the Death Notes are black.”
“Why is this one red?” he asked.
“Because it’s special...well nor really...it has the same affect as the black ones, only it’s red, that’s all...oh....and every Death Note has an original owner, that is a...”
“Shinigami...” he added, “So...are you a...”
“No!” I said fast not to let him finish his sentence, “I don’t like being mistaken with one of those creatures, I’m no Shinigami nor Goddess...I’m an Observer, much more better then a Shinigami...”
“So you’re not human either, right?”
“The body is a human’s body, but I’m something else within this body.”
“So where is the real owner of this Death Note?” he asked
“I don’t know, this one is from my Lost & Found shelf.”
“The Shinigami lost it or did you stole it from him?” he asked very suspiciously.
“He lost it!!” I shouted.
“You don’t have to shout...” he said, obviously annoyed by my way of answering...and I noticed that immediately.
“Gomen nasai...onegai shimasu. Last night was a very rough night and today isn’t a very good either...except for you.”
“It’s fine...” he reply, “Do you want something to drink? A glass of milk maybe?” he asked my very calm
“Milk?” I repeated
“Or you don’t eat and drink either?”
“Oh...I do, I do, but you caught me by surprise with your hospitality Yami...do you mind if i call you like this for now?
“Not at all...please continue” he said and then went to the kitchen and warmed me up a glass of milk.
“A Shinigami won’t tell you too much info about the Note and other stuff, you have to asked them every time, they just stay close by you, I mean the Death Note and wander around you until the day you die, but I’ll answer any question you have, of course they would too, if they know the answer *I smiled evilly*” I said then I drunk half a glass of the warm milk he brought me. “The person, that serial killer who died on TV...what’s-his-name...”
“Takamura Natsushiko...” he added
“Yeah him, he was killed by a Death Note.”
“I knew it! I knew that wasn’t an ordinary death...so is KIRA back?”
“No, he is not back, because KIRA is dead!”
“What was Lord KIRA’s name? Did he had one? Was he murdered? Or did he died of natural causes?”
I sobbed with a sad feeling in my voice.
“Too many questions....Yes your Lord KIRA did had a name and his name was...Yagami Light and yes he was killed by people that didn’t understood him...”
“F.B.I?...Police? Who?” he continued asking
“Yes...and some other more...”
“Is there a new KIRA chosen by him?” he asked
“I don’t think this new Death Note owner should be even called KIRA.”
“Why is that?”
“The guy that was killed on TV...that was to test the Death Note, to see if it really works, a stupid thing to do, but since that day that person did not wrote a single name.”
“When do you think the Death Note should be used?” he asked me, a very intelligent question I must say...
“I think we should wait, at least until the 28th this month...”
“Why since that date?”
“Because that is the day your Lord KIRA died...10 years ago...I don’t know if the owner knows, but I still wanna wait and see...you should wait to...if you want. Lord KIRA and the Second KIRA knew each other and collaborated, but you don’t know this KIRA person and I don’t want chaos and confusion and I don’t want you to get caught and killed I don’t wanna lose you as I lost Light... I thought aloud *silence* “If something happens to you call me! I’ll help you, if I can, with everything I can, but if you try to use me I will kill you.”
“Even as far as to kill me huh? Fair enough...” he said
I looked outside at the city...now in my mind was a lot of fuss...so many plans to make, things to take and more to do...I could feel someone watching me...this feeling haunted me since when...yes, since that dream I had last night, now I could feel him too, looking at me...
“It’s getting late...I think it’s time for me to go.” I said while looking at the window. “Remember if you ever want to know something about the Note, do not hesitate to call me.” While I was about to get moving.
“But wait!” he caught me by my wrist and I blushed ‘cause it took me by surprise. “How can I reach you?”
From nowhere I gave him a card, there it was a telephone number: 6686 – 0128
“A perfect number...it has no number 9” he thought aloud
“Only you can see these numbers, call me from a public phone or if it’s urgent call me form your mobile phone, this number can not be traced, but the conversation can be heard by someone...so be careful please.”
“Of course...but what happens if the real owner comes and clams the Note?” he asked me
“He or another Shinigami can have the Note”
“But what about me?”
“Calm down, you’ll get to keep it, the Shinigami will become the original owner ‘cause every Death Note has to have one, but he can not take it from you, he’ll just escort you everywhere you go...if he’s the type, if not he will just wait for you at your place or wherever you keep the Death Note, where the Note goes, he goes...”
“But what about the other people, how will they react when they’ll see him?”
*I laughed* “Foolish boy...only you can see it...the others....” I was interrupted by my mobile phone that was ringing loudly, he winced too, I excused myself and answered. “Yes, what is it?...she said it’s ok, so Monday we go to school by train and walk...I hope the weather get’s better ‘cause I’ll freeze in that shirt skirt from the uniform...no, no I won’t change my mind....yeah, yeah, bla, bla bla....Ja bye-bye!” I looked at him and said “I’m sorry for that.”
“No need to apologize...” *silence* “You go to school?”
“Yeah...so what?”
“Nothing... Where?”
“Why do you ask?”
“Nothing important, I just wanna know...just in case...”
“Kagura...Kagura Gakko.”
“The music school?” he added surprised.
“Yeah, why is that weird?”
“I don’t know...a person like you...I can not imagine you in a music school, well to be honest I can not imagine you in any environment...” he said, I laughed loudly, then I said
“I must go now...you can let go of my wrist now.” he let my wrist go gently, but in a way like he didn’t wanted to, like he did it only because I said so... “Read the rules of the Note and I’ll see you later, ok?”
“...” he was very quiet.
“I think I gave him a lot to think about.” I said to myself, “Ok, I’m off...” I said trying to brake the silence.
While I was going down the stairs i heard someone coming down too, quickly.
“Wait!” he said
“Yes?...what is it Yami?”
“It’s nothing...I just wanted to thank you...” he said, that remark put a warm smile on my face.
“Do itashimashite.”
Outside the building Minami and Higashi were waiting for me at the car parked somewhere near, while I was approaching Minami asked before taking a last smoke:
“So? How did it go mistress?”
“So far, so good.”
“Is he the one mistress?” he asked me very curious
“I can’t tell you that right now...because I don’t know either...” I said
“hm...what are you gonna do if he is not the one?”
“Simple...you’ll get rid of him...kill him, but I hope it won’t come to that.” I sobbed
“I wouldn’t like that to happen...” said Minami
“I hope so...”
