Personality;
Kuragari is seen as a pessimistic girl who takes pity on those who seem weaker than her. Some say she acts this way because she became a Genin at the age of eight, passed the Chuunin Exams at 10 and became a Jounin at only the young age of 13. However, the truth has never been revealed to anyone.
On the other hand, Kasumi can be very calm in any situation. Therefore, most believe that she is very strong... emotionally wise. However, they do not know that she hides her true feelings so people will not take her as a "weak" person.
Other than the negative things about her, Kuragari can be a very kind person and is extremely heroic in times when people need it. She is not afraid to show her true colors to anybody at anytime, even though she finds only a very little amount of people to trust.
Family;
Kasumi is the heir of the Kuragari clan; one of the most popular clans in all of the Fire Country.
Her mother died when she was three from protecting her from a few S-class ninjas while her father was away on a mission. Her father, however, has been missing ever since then.
Kurushimi;
Kasumi's bloodline jutsu is the Kurushimi. Once activated, the clan member's eyes turn black and it allows them to see others' chakra statuses, sense enemies from far away without using any tracking jutsu, use any kage (shadow) jutsu there is in the book, and read people's thoughts (only during a full moon). However, if the user's chakra is too low, their eyes turn normal and they lose the ability until they fully regain their chakra.
Childhood;
Kasumi was one of the spoiled kids when she was little. Knowing only a little amount of people in the village, she was usually at home training with her own personal tutor. After her mother died and her father went missing, Kasumi was taken in by Genma-san. Living a bit closer to the academy, she made more friends, including Shikamaru and Kiba, and grew very popular.
