Dear Nina,
Day Twenty-Four of Building Our Deck
First Day of School
UWHHAAA! After typing the entry yesterday, I just layed down on my bed, attempting to fall asleep, but all I could do was think about how summer was amazingly fun. Then I finally fell asleep like 40 minutes later. Then I woke up at 5:00 AM, because of my cellphone alarm. It felt so short. But anyway, then I extended it to 5:30, then 5:45. Then I just forced myself to get ready. Ehh. And then I slipped on my clothes and just layed on my bed. And I daydreamed about being in Naruto for about 30 minutes. So true. And I wasn't even nervous about school while I daydreamed. Heh. Then my mom called me down and I got ready. I ate breakfast, and then fixed my hair and got my bag and we left. Actually, my dad dropped me off. We had the roof down and I thought my hair would get messy, but it didn't. Heh. Then he dropped me off at school and wished me luck! Yeah I was scared. So anyway, first I looked for m homeroom teacher, and this lady helped me. Then I got my locker number and combo. and had to put my backpack in my locker. Then I had to wait a while because these two boys who's locker was next to mine were in the way. Ugh. Then one of my friends had to help me open my locker cause it seemed impossible. Then I went back to my homeroom and they said the announcements. The person I wanted to see most was Betsy. My friends, Ariana and Aisha, left already. *sobs* Anyway, we had to say in homeroom for like 30 more minutes until 8:45 AM because they had to give us our schedules and stuff. Then we went to our 1st period. My 1st period was Social Studies. I got to sit next to some of my friends. The teacher seems nice. And we had to do this "3 R's" paper. Wow. Then we went to Algebra, I think. And well, wow. I had to sit next to a boy and a girl. First we had to do a paper with our parent's phone numbers, then she talked about something, and then we got our text books and had to put covers on them, and last, we did some work from our text books. Ugh. I only finished 1 out of about 12 questions because I couldn't remember anything. And that goes for everyone too. WHHAAA! I hope I don't get a bad grade! Then I went to Language Arts. Hmm. My homeroom. Anyhoo! First she talked about something, and I had flashbacks about 6th Grade, the best year in Middle School ever. And then she showed us a presentation about herself. And then she told us to right a letter to ourselves in the future, when we finish 8th Grade. And I wrote something long and then class was finished. We also had to write our phone number and such in that class too. Then we went to Science, 4th period. There, she told us about everything, then we did the phone number thing, then we went to lunch. When we went to lunch, I saw Betsy! YAY! Hmm. I can't believe I wasn't that nervous. It just felt like anouther day in school, even though I haven't been in school for a while. So then I ate lunch next to a bunch of people I didn't talk to. Then we went back to Science. Then she talked more and we did the "3 R's" paper. And guess what!? Remember the guy I liked in 7th Grade? He was in my Social Studies, Language Arts, Algebra, and Science! Heh! Well, most of the people in my class last year are in my class. But it's weird. There's this girl I hate. And I wished for her to be on the opposite team as me (there is an A team and B team in all grades). I've always been on the A team. But this year, I'm on the B team. Hmph. AND BETSY'S ON THE OPPOSITE TEAM, AND THAT GIRL I HATE IS IN MY HOMEROOM! UGH! And she's joining my Chorus. NOOOO!!! Why? Most of my friends are on the A team. WHY!? Goodbye Betsy.
So then we went to P.E. I finally got to talk to Betsy. And some of my friends were surprised I didn't wear braids. And then I noticed alot of people joined our Chorus group. *sighs* Then we got split into groups by colors, such as yellow and pink. I got yellow, Betsy got pink. Hehe. And then my friend from 6th Grade, Taylor, asked me to trade. I asked why, and she said so I could be with Betsy. I wasn't listening to the teachers, because I was talking to my friends, Amy, Sarah, and others. But I caught on quickly and we quickly switched. Then we went to the Fitness Lab. *groan* There, we first sat down and heard our teacher talk. Then we had to read something. Then we got a paper and had to go around and have people answer a question on it and sign it. That was fun. I got alot of people to sign mine! And Betsy and I laughed. Then we finished and got ready for the next class, Unified Arts. I had Tech Ed. TECH ED!? Great! That class, with our lazy teacher there, you can do anything. It's more like the students control the class. But I feel bad for the teacher. And we had assigned seats. And, well, not even I sat in that seat I was supposed to be sitting in because someone was already in that seat. I just sat to my friend from last year, Danielle. I talked to her even though we were supposed to do a word search. Then I talked to Sarah. Yay! SARAH! She's my otaku friend! Hehe! We talked about Fruits Basket, because the last time I saw her (last year), I was still reading Fruits Basket. Then we talked about Death Note. Then we talked about Skip Beat!, then Gakuen Alice! She really does like the same anime and manga as I! And then she told me she didn't know a good website to watch anime. And I told her about AnimeFreak.tv and told her you can even watch anime movies on there. It's way better than YouTube. Then the bell rang and we had to wait for the locker bell. My mom and dad were picking me up. Yup. And then we talked about Inuyasha. I couldn't believe she knew, liked, and watched all of the episodes of my favorite anime! Then we said bye and I went to my locker, and on the way, I saw Betsy's brother, Sammy. Whoa. I just remembered he was now in 6th Grade. Then I got to my locker, put all my stuff away, and then Betsy came with her brother to wait for me. Then I saw my friends, Abigail and Melissa. Then Betsy and I talked, then I said bye because my mom and dad were outside, in the car, waiting for me. Then I got out of the back of the school, and got into the car. Then my parents bugged me about my first day, asking if it was good. Well, to tell you the truth, it was probably worse than my first day of 7th Grade. And well, the first day of 7th Grade was my First-Day ever.
Then we went to the Public Library. There, I just checked out some manga and a book for school. Then I went on the computer, to see what I had checked out. This book called Chosen was in my account, even though I don't remember checking it out. Then I checked out how it looks like, then I remembered. Sometimes my parents check out books on my account. And this one time, I asked my mom, if that book called Chosen was her's, and she said no. So the librarian probably put it away. Then I got the author's name down and looked for the book in the Adult Section. Then found it! Then I tried checking it out, and it said it couldn't be checked out. GREAT! That means that it's the same book. Then I turned it in. I'm so smart. But a normal person would think that I took it out and turned it in even though I had never checked it out. But wrong! Didn't I just say that my mom checked it out with my card and thought it wasn't her's, and then the librarian probably put it away because it was just there, and I found it and turned it in?! Hmph. Then I got the books I had on hold then went to the Kid's Section and sat down and read Peach Girl. Then my mom got me and said she couldn't find me. Then we went to pick up my brother. Heh. My brother said his first day was boring too even though they got to go play on the playground for a long time. Better than my day. Then we went to China Kitchen to celebrate our day. Then while we waited for it, we went to West Marine, and I got to drink a coke because I was extremely thirsty. Then we went to Blockbuster, then the Dollar General. I don't think that was the Dollar General though because they had stuff for $10. Then our dad got the food, and we headed home.
When we got home, we went on the deck and ate our food. Yummy! It tasted good. Then we had a little bit of ice cream. Then my mom signed the papers for school. Then my brother, dad, and I played Goldfish. We played a few games while listening to old music. Then I showed my dad this unbelievable magic trick that even I, don't get. Then after that, I went back inside, got my papers, then took a shower. Then I went upstairs to type this and read Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu. I also watched TV. Then I had to pretend I was sleeping because my dad was making sure I was sleeping.. AT 8:30 PM!? I was supposed to be typing my journal entry. So really. Even on school days, I have to pretend I'm sleeping? Then I read Naruto, then watched more TV. Then fell asleep. Then I woke up at 5:00 AM to finish typing this. Well, I started typing it yesterday, and finished today, is that okay?

P.S. No work on the deck.
