Hello and welcome to Keba's Anime and Manga Place (KAAMP for short)! Here at KAAMP, I write about anime and manga that I have seen/read as well as my views on them. I'll also post about my original stories from time to time.

Just beware that some of my posts contain spoilers. I'll put them in spoiler tags just in case.

KAAMP's history: KAAMP was created in July 2002 by yours truly. It was a sloppy-looking website on Yahoo's now defunct Geocities. I posted my anime fan art on that site. Also, for a time, I posted my thoughts on the few anime series that I had seen. Now that I look back on it, my thoughts were rather ill-informed (is that even a word?) because I had only seen bits and pieces of anime dubs. Now that I've seen more series, I think that my commentary on various anime will be a little better than before.

So, come on in and stay awhile! KAAMP is now in session.

Must Have More Manga

Barnes and Noble is having a "buy two get one" sale on manga soon. I think it's on the 19th. I have the last two volumes of a series that I intend to buy, but I might as well get a freebie while I'm at it.

So, now I turn to you, my fellow Otakuites. Got any recommendations for a good manga? Suggest anything you want, and I'll check if my local B&N has it.

Crazy Idea

I know you guys haven't heard from me in some time. That's because I haven't felt like writing much. But now I have inspiration.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I came up with a new story idea about 15 minutes ago. The set-up is that there's this girl who's kind of a social outcast, that reads comics to escape from her lonely life. One morning, she finds the hero of her favorite comic, fully materialized, in her room. At first, it seems like only she can see him, but it turns out that this same phenomenon has happened to other people who are reading the comic series. And that's mostly what I have in terms of the idea. Oh, and the people who can see these characters can only see the ones that they've read about.

I just wanted to jot that down in case I forget.

Seriously, though, I'm coming up with too many complicated ideas. I still have The Rebels of Planet Aadau and Destination to write. And then there's that plot-less story about mythological creatures. Plus, I have to come up with the next arc in Survival Instincts. So basically, my plate is pretty full in regard to story ideas.

The Summer Event Is Here

You can either visit my Portfolio or click here to view the event. Don't forget to sign up in the designated post!

In other news, it seems like none of my Manga Studio files transferred to my new computer. Fortunately, the hard drive of my old computer is still functioning, so I may have a chance of getting them back. Anyone know how to do that?

Don't worry about the paragraph I crossed out. I found a way, and they're now on my computer. I am relieved!

Officially Back

My new computer just came in yesterday. I couldn't be more thrilled. Well, I could, but who's keeping score? I'm still very happy.

I spent a good chunk of time reinstalling all my programs. I'm still not quite done. At least I can do digital art again. I've been working hard on a bunch of drawings, and I'll finally get to finish them. When they're all done, I want to do some art trades. I'm also thinking about starting a Wallpaper Challenge.

For those of you who want to know about my summer event, I'll reveal it on the 20th. I would have announced it earlier, but you know, it'd be hard to host without a functional computer.

I'm so glad to be back, you guys! Thank you all for your support-- I read every message you left on my previous post. *Hugs everyone.*
