Hello and welcome to Keba's Anime and Manga Place (KAAMP for short)! Here at KAAMP, I write about anime and manga that I have seen/read as well as my views on them. I'll also post about my original stories from time to time.

Just beware that some of my posts contain spoilers. I'll put them in spoiler tags just in case.

KAAMP's history: KAAMP was created in July 2002 by yours truly. It was a sloppy-looking website on Yahoo's now defunct Geocities. I posted my anime fan art on that site. Also, for a time, I posted my thoughts on the few anime series that I had seen. Now that I look back on it, my thoughts were rather ill-informed (is that even a word?) because I had only seen bits and pieces of anime dubs. Now that I've seen more series, I think that my commentary on various anime will be a little better than before.

So, come on in and stay awhile! KAAMP is now in session.

May the 4th Be with You!

Happy Star Wars Day, everyone. I wish I had more nice things to tell you guys.

The Coolest Thing Ever

Check out this fan-made video. It is amazing. The artist drew everything. EVERYTHING. It's just... wow. I can't find the words.

Warning: Major spoilers for FMAB.

Honestly, I'd love to do something like that. If/when the artist posts a making-of video, I'll be all over it.

Back Home

My surgery was a success, and now I'm back at my apartment.

Yesterday, I got a drawing done. I'm going to wait a bit until I post it. I just want to build up a big pile of finished drawings and post them all at once. Then I can spam everyone's Backrooms! Yay!

I don't know if I mentioned this, but I thought I had a free trial subscription to FUNimation. Turns out it wasn't free. Ooooooops. Luckily, I caught it and notified the subscription service team. They canceled the subscription and gave me a partial refund. At least I wasn't out too much. Even if I hadn't canceled it, I wouldn't have been out much. At $4.99, their limited plan is actually pretty cheap.

Don't know what else to say.... Anyone up for a livestream sometime soon?

Life/Health Update (If You Like That Stuff)

I told you guys that I was going in for surgery. Well, now I'm out. It was a successful operation. I'm staying with my parents and taking it easy.

I took a lot of art supplies with me. Maybe I'll even finish something. I don't have access to my scanner, so even if I do finish a picture, it might take some time to post. Also, if I can find a big enough surface, I'll bust out my tablet and do a livestream.

Another thing I'm going to do is watch some anime. My brother and his girlfriend let me borrow some of their anime DVDs. Taking advantage of two free trial promotions on Hulu and FUNi, is helping things along nicely, too.

Right now, I feel very calm. Sure, my IV arm is stiff and I'm in a small amount of pain, but I'm doing well in spite of all that.

I Found a Survey

I was pleasantly surprised to find an online survey from theO in my inbox. OK, so it was in my Gmail Promos folder. So sue me. I won't give any details on what the survey is about besides the fact that it's theO-related, but if you subscribe to theO's newsletter, you can take it too.

This poster has no affiliation with theO's newsletter. I just subscribe to it and read it.

Update: The Bossman himself posted about it here.
