How to Save a Life

"We need to talk." Grimmjow stated quietly.
Ulquiorra stared at him, waiting for him to say something. Grimmjow smiled sadly, "I've wanted to tell you something for a long time."
Ulquiorra gave him a confused look, why am I even here? he thought as he looked out the window to his right. Grimmjow looked at the door to his left nervously."Are you going to tell me?"
"It's best if I don't..." he stated sadly.
"Well?"
"You know, that's what's wrong with you. You always want the answers 'right here, and right now.' And then when I tell you, your so damn quiet about it, as if the world just ended in front of you!" Grimmjow retorted angrily.
"Well, you did call me in to tell me something."
Can't you see I love you?! Grimmjow thought, shifting his gaze to Ulquiorra, But the truth is, I'm too afraid to say it. Ulquiorra stood up and turned to the door. "Wait!" Grimmjow managed to choke out.
Ulquiorra's blank expression faded to annoyance, and he frowned,"Well, am I gonna wait here all night?"
"I'm trying!!" he said, raising his voice.
"Just say it," Ulquiorra replied in a hushed tone, "Please."
Grimmjow gulped, Should I just admit it, or...Maybe try a different approach...? "I...I mean, m-my f-f-f-feelings have...Changed f-f-for you." he stammered anxiously.
Ulquiorra stared at him, caution and some other inaudible emotion were written in his emerald eyes."Go on..."
God I love those eyes.... Grimmjow reflected, "I-I-I'm in l-l-love with y-y-you!" he forced the words out, still stammering, as sweat formed in small beads on his forehead.
Ulquiorra's emerald eyes portrayed that inaudible expression fully now,"Huh...?"
Grimmjow practically jumped to his feet, and walking over to Ulquiorra, took the other Arrancar's face in his hands and brushed his lips against Ulquiorra's. Ulquiorra gave him a strange look, and looking into Grimmjow's aquamarine eyes, he understood exactly what Grimmjow was talking about. He put his left hand over Grimmjow's on his cheek, leaning into the touch. Grimmjow looked at him with curiosity, at his pale skin, those piercing green eyes which practically bled out onto his cheaks into tear-like marks. With his free hand, he rubbed his thumb against one, as if to wipe it away. Ulquiorra simply stared into Grimmjow's eyes, he had never noticed how enchanting they were. Grimmjow then pressed his lips against Ulquiorra's.
