Studio Ghibli, the true Japanese wonder

~Page 2, Pre-Ghibli movies~

So now we are going to talk about pre-Ghibli movies!^^ And first not to give you any random or awkward moment for not hearing about them, don't worry, mostly people haven't.

They were the movies that were done both by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata (later there were also some other famous directors than just them) 'before' they made Studio Ghibli. The first needed to start from somewhere..

So they did, by making their first studio which was called Topcraft. Their works were mostly published by other famous publishers, like Toei animation, Tokyo Movie Shinsa and some other.

One of their more famous works from there are:
Sally the witch (1966)
Panda! Go Panda! (1972)
Heidi, Girl of the Alps
Anne of the Green Gables (1979)
Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro (1979)
Gauche the Cellist (1982)

But the story really changes for the most famous pre-Studio Ghibli movies. Some say that it is the first, because it was made by the same crew and cast who first started working at Ghibli.
This movie led to foundation of it and it was a great success with being a phenomenal anime movies even to this day.
It is called, Nausicaa Valley of the wind which was released in 1984.

Featuring some of the most fascinating soundtracks that were heard by that time and amazing graphics, this movie took everyone to the fantasy of the world that the story is hidden.
The story follows Nausicaa who is a princess and one of the key roles in the world that was destroyed by an apocalyptic war.
It is very touching and deep story putting everyone in deep questioning.

After this movies it was known and it was time for the Studio Ghibli to be made and to shine with their movies that will always remain in memories.
