It seems I managed to live through being stuck in traffic for more than 3 hours... I did suffer from other set-backs, but at least I live to tell the tale...
I have no idea what exactly caused the sudden surge of traffic from what used to be a traffic-free zone. I heard it had something to do with a politician...
Bah! It cost me precious time... and patience...
