Why are there a lot of crazy, homeless folks hanging around the parking areas?

Man, it has been raining a lot lately... and it's starting to get uncomfortable riding around in my scooter... :/
Oh, well... at least I got good rain gear. It ain't that bad. It's even fun. Except for the clean-up I need to do. All the mud and stuff that is splattered all over the place ain't fun.

So, I managed to attend the 3rd Bikol Komikon on it's last day... hahahaha...
To clarify, Komiks is the local Comics... so in essence, it was a Comic Convention.
I saw a handful of cosplayers, and met some awesome artists. One was a comic artist for a national newspaper. Awesome. (Though I don't read his works... > >;)
One of the artist was really friendly, and since his works were interesting, I bought some of his comics.
I wanted to take pictures... but... I felt a bit embarrassed. But, I felt at ease with the atmosphere. They were really friendly.
I learned that they plan to hold a bigger event this September, and they will keep me informed. Awesomesauce.
Looking at the different drawings there made me realize that I can still practice the art. It even inspired me to try making a comic again. This time, I'll put more effort in it, and try to make a better story. XD
I'm planning to do a collaboration one of these days with a friend of mine who does great drawings. I'll suggest stories so one of these days, we can join the ranks of the artists in the Komikon. Someday... Someday... Specially when my friend is no longer busy with his research work.

And... due to some unforseen circumstances... Issue 1 of Darkfel almost got lost... Thankfully, I was able to recover it when I returned to the artist's table. It was "dropped" sometime when we were leaving the area. Whew.

When I saw this in Adam's post... I laughed... because the first part is practically me now, since I haven't been on the regular's chat time in a while...
OK... I'll be applying for my driver's license on the 23rd. However, since I lack experience with driving a car, I'll be applying for a motorcycle license only.
The office let me use an electric bicycle in the meantime because someone donated a bunch of units to the city government, and our department was given a unit. None of the higher-ups needed or wanted to use it, and though I declined it initially since I will be having the license to use the scooter soon, I was the one given the responsibility over it. Nifty.
It's relatively fast for a bicycle, but is no match for motorbikes.
The battery can last for 1 to 2 days, depending upon use and speed.
Did I also mention that I don't feel very manly in riding it. I feel like a kid on one of those toys... hahahaha...

Well, hopefully, I can get my license soon, so I can ride my motorbike. XD
