Hey everyone! It's been a while since I last posted... so I think I'll do a quick, bullet update.
And yeah... title unrelated to any posts... so I don't think any "real" guns were involved... > >
- Fiesta Procession was terribly wet. It rained heavily during the outdoor mass, so despite the umbrella... We got a bit soaked.
- I'm due for my Business Proposal Saturday, next week... So I'll be making another flash presentation to make keep people's attention on the screen, and avoid yawns. Financial figures tend to do that.
- I never thought that acquiring a Master's Degree would involve a lot of expenses from serving snacks during class when you are up for reporting. Seriously, in my two years, my classes this year keep obligating us (mainly because the ones before served a snack, and the rest are 'pressured' to follow.) Meh.
- Fiesta celebration on the Saturday means no classes. Yay! It's the main reason why my report got bumped down a bit.
- Another holiday on the 21st.
- All this holidays is making me have backlogs at work for it's messing up my pace. I need to double my speed this week. Heh.
I know I missed a couple of stuff, but never mind. hahahaha...
See you around!
In connection with my previous post (*points below*), I almost forgot the fun part that made our dinner with our mentor hilarious...
We arrived at the venue and searched for a place to sit.
We were a relatively large group of around twelve or more. There were no other location available, so we seated near the side of the stage.
When we arrived, the singers just finished a song, and noticed our large group just as the food was being served. Who wouldn't notice our group? Most of our company was applauding the songs that they sang. :P
They asked us what the gathering was for.
They answered in chorus that is was Mr. Jerome's birthday.
They asked who is this Mr. Jerome. We all pointed at him.
"Are you sure it's his birthday?" The female singer asked.
A lot said yes.
"Mr. Jerome, did you know today is your birthday? You don't seem too convinced..."
I laughed.
I was with a bunch of nuts. They knew that it was for a different reason, but they did so anyway. My companion to the left of me even said that the guy to his left is celebrating his birthday today... :P
Nutcases... but fun, nonetheless... XD
Well, I was gone for a while... The weekend suddenly became longer, due to a sudden declaration last Friday making Monday a holiday. :D
Saturday, one of our mentors from the Business Club returned from their European Tour (an incentive to around 30 people) and treated us to a feast. :O It was supposed to be in celebration of his birthday. A late one though. His birthday took place when he was in Europe. (Ichi: I told you, you should have attended the meeting! XD )
I want to be able to earn one of those incentives and go on tour. There's an Asian Tour Incentive available but the target seems a bit high... D: That ain't stopping me from trying, though. Hopefully, next year, I'll be among those given the European Tour. (hey, can't stop a guy from dreaming, right?)
To remind me of my dream, every once in a while, I look at the little Eiffel Tower key chain that our Mentor gave us. XD
Even though yesterday was a holiday, I was plagued with a headache, so I did not enjoy it well. But, at least, I missed work enough to manage to arrive early... XD
Well, see you around!
Hey everyone! How are you all doing?
It has been a so-so week...
I feel the week is running at a terribly fast rate and I am running out of time. I'll be submitting an exam paper tomorrow (Saturday) and I haven't done the reaction paper part... D: I'll be rushing it tonight... Why am I not so good with all of these managerial theories? O_O
And, in relation to my title, I created a facebook account for the sake of expanding my network - which would hopefully lead to future ventures (both internet activities and real life business). So far... all I've ever accomplished is play Mafia Wars... (*shakes fist at Michi*)
Well, be seeing you around!
What do you do when things don't go as expected or planned?
While things are doing well, it wasn't as good as I expected... I'm re-evaluating and focusing stuff on activities that will bring better results.
Short post is short... hahaha ^_^
