I was expecting it to be included in the room services, at least... I read some reviews on the internet that even said their wifi was free. I found out when I arrived that not only was the wifi not free... it was ridiculously expensive... Blimey! P320 (approx. $8) per day? You've got to be kidding me!
Unfortunately, I don't know the area well enough to find a free hot spot. Plus I'm on a seminar... I'm screwed.

I'm slowly recovering from my hard disk tragedy...
I'm browsing my PC for the crap-ton of redundant files that I have to see if I have left some important stuff in it. Thankfully, I got a few stored in here. After all, my external hard disk was supposed to be a back-up of my PC...
While it is unfortunate that a couple of personal files are gone, I am happy to note that it was only recently that I started using that external drive as a file storage. I blame my movie and anime downloads... They sure can eat up space!
Well, it's a tiresome task. I may be shaken up, and broken... but I ain't beaten.
I am trying my best to recall my files - all 300G of it... =-=, and downloading stuff that I can download...
Remembering my files brings a pang to my heart. I know that there are some that I will no longer get back.
I'm a pack rat of files, so I guess that's just my pack rat mentality kicking in...
Damn it.

I haven't been able to work on any art-related stuff in a while.
I came to a point where I was frustrated at the lack of ideas and skill from my part.
Today was sort of different.
My experimentation and trial allowed me to complete this:
I had fun making it as I tried my best to make it burn.

I also managed to make some crappy still life. I tried drawing a bunch of fruits from memory. Unfortunately, I think I left the file at work (heh, accidentally typed fire, instead of file there...), so I guess I'll have to show my work on Monday.
I researched some digital still life works, and it certainly made me feel inferior. The glossy details of their work, compared to my simple rendering methods made me feel like a joke. But, not that down as to not feel challenged. I hope I can find more techniques to get an eye for these details, and manage to transfer them to my works.
