Strange headache is strange...

Hello everyone!

I've been gone for a while due to some holiday related stuff... hahahaha...

Anyway, the fiesta was exhausting, and I now got a cold and a headache... I guess the ice cream was no remedy to the cold, eh? What's annoying about the headache I got now is that it is cough-activated.. Well, more like cough worsened... > > Every time I cough, I feel like a nail is being driven to my skull .. =_=

Yeah... but I still dragged my sorry butt to work... All these holidays are piling up my backlogs... > > Guess you can't have a vacation and have no work piled up on your desk for you, eh?

Also, I was able to watch 6 episodes of Darker than Black last weekend, and have concluded that Contractors have OCD - obsessive compulsive disorder... hahaha... *shot*

Well, see you around! *cough* =_=

Edit:
Dehavior Remedied... > > *shot*

We got a puppy!

I arrived late last night at home to find out that we got a new puppy!

It seems that Haze's research on introducing new pets to the house worked - somewhat, for our older dog is not very hostile to the young one.

The light-brown, little dog is just a month old, and is just large enough to be around the size of my palm.

Although she seemed to be very playful and relaxed when we are around her, she seems lonely and becomes very noisy when left alone.

She had a hard time sleeping last night for our older dog does not want to go near her that much... so in order to help her sleep, I once again made use of the clock trick. It involves making use of a ticking clock, placing it under the puppy's bed, and making the puppy sleep in there. Apparently, the ticking reminds the pup of its mother's heart, and is able to relax.

It worked.

However, I awoke this morning to loud crying sounds from her. Apparently she wants to get in the house - where someone is working in the kitchen. Heh. Talk about a wake-up call. It even beat my alarm by 15 minutes.

Also, another holiday on the 21st... So, I guess extra time for rest? Well, not really... I have been slacking off on my report... > >

I need to get to work. hahaha...
See you around!

Let's talk manga!

Hello everyone!

I decided to post a long overdue post. My anime watching has come to a terrible halt- mainly because internet was having issues and my stash got depleted... heh...

So I took what little is left of my vacant time to read manga.

Early this month, there was this huge sale at the Bookstore, where a lot of manga (aside from other books) were sold at a discount. A bit shameful, but hey, at least I buy what I can, right?

I picked three series, of what I thought were good, among the pile. Saber Marionette J, Kindaichi Case Files and Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Since my sister has a point card for the bookstore, and I don't... I decided to let her buy the stuff the next day.

When she came to buy, the Samurai Deeper Kyo volume was gone. D:

Oh, well...

So we managed to acquire Volume 1 and 5 of Saber Marionette and Volume 4 of Kindaihi Case Files.

Saber Marionette J was an eye-popper. I was able to watch some episodes of the anime and thought it was fun... but... I don't think I should let kids read it. And without knowing about the contents, my sister let my father read Volume 1. Great... O_o

Ehem... Anyway, before I go and read the other book, I thought of reading the other volumes. I only found some in Manga Fox, ending my reading to Chapter 8... I wonder where I can find the rest?

Kindaichi Case files is very interesting. I enjoy Detective Conan, so a mystery manga is cool. And since each volume is a stand-alone case, I had no problem reading the 4th Volume, Treasure Isle. If I made a bet as to who is the criminal, I swear, I would have lost. XD

Well, that's all for now. See you around.

I can't think of a decent title...

Something decent enough that could say "Our Internet is a Dickweed..."

But, yeah... It has been unstable for a while this week.. And by that I mean not being connected to the internet for a couple of hours. Lame.

And just when I saw a friend of mine on-line. < <;

For a moment there, I even thought that there was something wrong with our network hub... Which would mean a longer time without connection.

Good to see things working well.

See you around!

Beware of Bullet Holes

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I last posted... so I think I'll do a quick, bullet update.

And yeah... title unrelated to any posts... so I don't think any "real" guns were involved... > >

  • Fiesta Procession was terribly wet. It rained heavily during the outdoor mass, so despite the umbrella... We got a bit soaked.
  • I'm due for my Business Proposal Saturday, next week... So I'll be making another flash presentation to make keep people's attention on the screen, and avoid yawns. Financial figures tend to do that.
  • I never thought that acquiring a Master's Degree would involve a lot of expenses from serving snacks during class when you are up for reporting. Seriously, in my two years, my classes this year keep obligating us (mainly because the ones before served a snack, and the rest are 'pressured' to follow.) Meh.
  • Fiesta celebration on the Saturday means no classes. Yay! It's the main reason why my report got bumped down a bit.
  • Another holiday on the 21st.
  • All this holidays is making me have backlogs at work for it's messing up my pace. I need to double my speed this week. Heh.

I know I missed a couple of stuff, but never mind. hahahaha...

See you around!
