I just watched Battle Royale this weekend, and man, was it bloody.
I really think it's a tough idea to go off killing everyone in your class so you could survive. If you don't, someone will kill you.
They got three days until only one survives. Or else, everyone dies.
I've been thinking that if I somewhat end up in a game like that, I'll probably be among those that will kill to survive... I don't know how, or what I'll do... It's just that I don't think I'd want to kick the bucket doing nothing. If I die, then I lost, if I live... then hello Post-Traumatic Syndrome (or whatever it was called)...
The tough part would be the idea of having to kill those people close to you - your friend (or best friend) or someone you love...
What about you? Have you watched this movie already? If you were place in this situation, what would you do? Will you try to survive, or not do anything? Will you survive by following the rules, or try breaking it?
I'm going to be watching Battle Royale 2 this weekend. XD
So, I made a shameless plug in my last post about my cousin's jingle-video contest thing that they entered... IT seems they need at more than 2000 votes to win... before the month ends.
Here's the catch, though... They are suspecting that spam e-mail, cheating mechanism is involved... One video which won the previous month's challenge, got 300 votes in less than 30 minutes...
Not just that, their competition, which involves a masked singing grandma emphasizing an original croc versus a fake one to the tune of something that sounds familiar... > > here. It's not in English though.
This is what my cousin and his team made. Link.
Now, the entire song may not be too awesome.. but I think the chorus is catchy enough... and the tune is alright. Plus I think they should get brownie points for the video, right?
What do you think?
Oh, and here is the discussion on that video which managed to boost their vote count in a few minutes... Link
I hope they win.
Hello everyone!
I'm here to rally help for my cousin. He made a video for Crocs, with the theme "Crazy for Crocs."
I don't know much about the details. But I do like the video... It has that text effect similar to Higashi no Eden which I tried to replicate (and failed for Flash for I'm not too good with motion tween... ).
I think the song could use some improvement, but it has a nice and catchy tune. It has potential.
I ain't forcing you, but the guy needs at least 2000 votes... it seems like a lot... hahahaha... so, if you think it's awesome, give it a vote. I'm inspired to edit videos now. I am shaking my fist at Movie maker for limiting my creativity...
The link is here!
If you think it's awesome, you could rally more help. I even made the link tiny... http://tinyurl.com/yhlw2v4
As for my life? It's doing so-so...
Classes are supposed to begin on Saturday, tomorrow... I'm down to my last two subjects, then it's on to writing thesis! I'm not too excited about it... Actually, I dread the panel defense... ^_^;
See you around!
hahahaha... why did that Beck song jump in my head again...
Follow me.. (Follow me...)
Ehem...
Anyway, on to the post. The title, is actually related.
I don't know what came over me... I decided to make a twitter account! *gasp* O_O
Just because I saw this instructional video on how to drive more traffic to your site, I acted on the spur of the moment...
Actually, the main reason that I am in these so called web 2.0 sites is to improve traffic... Hey, at least more people will know, apart from those who stumbled on my site from google (which is just one, according to my data for this year... hahahaha) or those that I have told through word of mouth.
Since I registered in Facebook, and played a game, I have driven new visitors to my site... but information shows they never returned. ^_^;
I'm not too good at developing sites, eh?
Well, for people in TheO, there's nothing much special about it.. It is, after all, just my personal portfolio...
So, yeah... I'm going to make like a bird and spam that site. XD
Oh, and in case you haven't seen my latest wallpaper: here it is. Thanks guys.
I have submitted my new wallpaper... and it's one piece! :D
Anyway, since Adam had fun last night (or day for me) by replacing the gerbils that run this site with mudkips, which caused an otakulypse.... I guess my last post got little attention... hahaha...
So yes, I submitted a wallpaper the day before, and one today... All should have been finished long ago, except I felt there was something missing, and held on to them for a while longer... Too long, I think.
I'm starting to like the weather now. It's a bit cooler. I would have slept longer had I not noticed I'm going to be late. XD
See you around!
