Finally, internet is fixed!

I planned on returning to the chat with a "Hi everyone, I'm new here. How does this work again?" line. I tried it. No one took the bait... probably because it was in Solace... Hahaha... But still, it's good to be back.
I was not able to completely focus on the chat for I had loads of backlogs, both internet and work stuff.
We'll be having a seminar on Stress Management on the 8th of August, and I am having a hard time. Good thing I have very supportive group members. One even came to office - traveling more than an hour, just to meet with me and discuss stuff we needed to do because he lost my contact info. It was supposed to be on the 15th, but due to our speaker being available on the 8th only, we had to run things on overdrive... talk about cramming, eh?
I had to catch up on some One Piece, and I hereby re-state what Nehz used as a title, "Oda, you sly dog!"

Hey everyone, just saying I'm still alive and kicking - but our internet still ain't.
I'm at home using snailnet, for I need to check some e-mails...
So, what's up? Hmm... I'm running a very small business, and I invested cash at the cost of one Nintendo DS... well, close to it, at least. It ain't much... more like a dealer of stuff. But at least I'm earning. ^_^
I'm hoping that the internet will be resumed next week...
I've been using the spare time to play Animal Crossing on an emulator... Since I used the cash to earn. Hopefully, I'll be able to roll my initial investment and be able to buy one. XD I'm having fun with it. I can't wait to get the real thing and use the wi-fi feature.
Is it me, or is my character getting tanned because I am playing it everyday at lunch time? I prefer me not too crisp, thank you very much... Hahaha...

I'm still alive... in case you're wondering...
What, however, kicked the bucket, is our office's server router. To remedy this immediately, our department's router was taken and placed in the server's... So, those people connected to the main router has internet (it is needed for the billing department) while those who don't need it much has none...
The lack of network connection is also troublesome for those with network-shared printers. I hope this gets fixed soon.
So... yeah... that explains my absence. I hope I wasn't missed much. XD
I used my spare time to work on my site design, and finally create a decent fan art. I hope to upload it soon. I still see some minor finishing touches to it. I'll probably work on it later. I also managed to make a wallpaper.

I just used up my last "spare" number of tardiness because of the stupid bus. And you know what's worse? An office mate of mine who decided not to ride that bus (which was filled to the brim with people), and take the next one, ended up arriving much earlier (and not late), while I ended up stressed and in a bad mood.
I have three more days remaining before the month ends and the "counter" resets. Yeah, our office is strict like that with regard to tardiness. We only get to have a maximum of five in a month, or else you'll be taking half a month's vacation without pay - if you know what I mean... =_=
Plus there will be a power interruption some time today... It will be hot as a steam bath today, I bet.
This is just not my day. I have a feeling this will also be among one of my lowest month in the year. I hope this trend goes better, eh?

I have been wandering around the intertubes, and after Nehz announced some Youmacon related stuff, I thought about finding out if there are any conventions around near me...
There are.
And most of them I have no idea about. :O
Well, not exactly near. More than 8 hours of travel, at least. I don't think I'll be taking a leave of absence from work to attend a con. :P
How I wish something like this would happen within the city itself. I can drop by on the weekend. XD
