Wait wait wait! -Kun can be used for a girls as well. It's just not commonly used really. But people do use kun for girls from time to time. Besides, Tohru can be used for both genders. Just like Hikaru and Kaoru. There' Hikaru and Kaoru from Host Club and Hikaru Utada the singer and Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin.
Oh wow! 0.o I've been doing it wrong this whole time, I accidentally called my friend Yumi-kun on accident, so I accidentaly called her a boy/man when really she's a girl!!! Wow, now I feel stupid.... Thanks 4 letting me know! ^^
