My latest work! This was a self portrait still life assignment to describe me. Since I worked behind the scenes of television for about six years and backstage drama for about five, the messy props, etc everywhere kind of speaks to me. I set up the still life myself too. Hope you like please comment!
Not only that, my life is really depressing, hectic, and out of my control lately so this picture has a lot of emotion in it. I feel so lost. Drama and Television have mess ups too and you need to improvise and just deal with whatever the best you can...much like with dealing with life.
My city had their first convention last year and the anime section SUCKED. So this year they are begging me to help them improve the anime for this year. It's a sci-fi/fantasy convention so I want you all to think of anime in those genres. Do not worry if you venture out of that though. Think of a mix of popular and unique anime and anime movies. Think of things that a newbie and an otaku would enjoy together. So far these anime are what I am thinking:
- Monster
- Eureka Seven
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
- Ouran High School Host Club
- Gundam 00
- Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory
- Gundam Wing Endless Waltz

This MMO is really a lot of fun. You basically earn reputation points from killing things and turning in quests. There is so far a level 25 cap on all skills and a level 40 notoriety cap on your character. Notoriety is what you call the levels in this game. You have an option of creating up to four characters per account name and it only costs about $9.99 a month. It is not as expensive as world of warcraft which is around $14 a month.
As like any pirate, you skills like sailing, cannon, cutlass, pistol, voodoo doll, grenade, dagger and voodoo staff. I personally love my pistol but I guess I am biased because it is my only mastered weapon. If you are a blue name (Meaning you are unlimited and thus pay) you can level your weapons to the cap level, buy all the ships as they come available to you, shop for clothes/tattoos/haircuts, and use all the skills that you earn. This game is really fun if you pay. It is pretty cool with what they did lately. They added more quests and revamped the maps for Port Royal and Tortuga to look more like the movies.
As for the people from the movie, Barbossa, Elizabeth, Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Tia Dalma. They look really close to the actual characters and it sounds like they used the real actors for the voices. I cannot think of anything else to say so questions are welcome.
