Nope, everyone in the family starts young. My Grandma was 18 or 19, my mom was 25, my uncle 23, my aunt/uncle 22, and my sister is 16 and just found her first one. But my Grandma was 73 when she passed and she still hadn't gone completly grey. It starts young but takes forever. Though my hair has started to thin out some and that didn't happen to my mom until she was in her 30's.
If I wasn’t so vain I might let it grow out and stop coloring it. Now I’m not ashamed of my hair anymore like I use to be, but I would just rather pretend that I’m not a 20 year old with thinning grey hair. Children can be so mean, I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for you. For me it wasn’t that bad because in my high school we had 5 or 6 teens who had greying hair, and I colored mine. But boy finding that first grey hair was like- well let’s say the sobbing mess I was, was very unattractive…
I was ashamed of my hair, I got really embarrased when people said stuff about it. Not to mention it started going white when I was in Elemetry school, so it goes with out saying that my stupid classmates had something mean to say about it. Its only a little streak of white now; it used to be bigger then, plus I had a few noticable strands here and there (my sister used to pull them out -_-') I actually changed the way I wore my hair, cuz I didn't want the attention. I used to always wear my hair pulled back in a tight pony tail, but I ended up growing out my bangs and cutting my hair so I could wear it down, just to hide the white. My mom said she'd let me die it, but for some reason I never did. Eventually I talked myself into thinking it was cool: I loved my cat Prince so much, and he was all white, and I had a white streak of hair, I thought it connected us in some way XD
I'm going to get my hair cut in the next couple of days, maybe I'll take a pic and post it then XD Its really not that noticeable unless I have my hair pulled back...unless I go to bed with wet hair; I'll awake with my hair sticking straigh up in a knotted mess, and at that time it looks something like Sweeny Todd's (the one Tim Burton movie with Jonny Depp in it) hair XD

I would really like to see a picture of your hair now... I hope I don't sound too creepy...
I started going grey when I was only 15 so I started to color my hair. I hated it so much when people would ask about my odd hair coloring.
