Hello, all!

This blog is dedicated to wellness. My wellness specifically. Mostly fitness. Exercise and nutrition. I want to get myself back in shape, and I feel like the only way I am going to do that is if I hold myself accountable. And the only way I do that is if I put myself out there. I probably won't post every day because let's face it, I won't have time, but if I can dedicate one post a week and give an update on everything, I feel like that will be good enough.

New Year, Same Goals

I got pretty lax around the holidays as it's pretty hard for me to work out with all the traveling back and forth I did between Sioux Falls and home. And with the holidays, of course I stuffed myself a little too much. And when I weighed myself, I've actually gained a ton more weight from December.

But that's okay! It's a new year! I have no holidays coming up, so I can get back to business. Which I did today. Just got done with a forty minute cardio workout, and I am now enjoying my post workout fruit smoothie. Yum!

Holiday Workouts

I was doing so well being healthy and working out until the holidays rolled around!

I went home for about 6 days and totally stuffed my face the entire time. But I don't even feel bad. Being on holiday is about enjoying yourself. And I wasn't going to worry about what I ate the entire time. I live on a farm, so I was outside sledding, 4 wheeling, and doing chores, so I think I was able to work off part of the big meals.

But I'm back to eating healthy today and just finished up another workout.

Water is so good!

Day One: Measurements

Okay, this is the hardest part. Telling you all what my measurements are. But it needs to be done.

My motto for this entire thing is that I am happy with who I am, but I could be happier. And that is why I am doing this.

Height: 5'6"
Weight: I don't actually know this, but the last time I weighed myself was a couple weeks ago, and I weighed about 180 lbs.
Arm:13 in
Waist: 34 in
Hip:41.5
Thigh:25 in
Chest: 38 in
