I have never seen Toonami US, and Toonami Philippines seems to have silently passed away anyway (with their only shows being 2 sentai series that I'm not fond of watching). But watching Toonami's finale really made me sad. Somehow, I can already feel even a little bit of the pain that all of you feel right now.

Toonami was like a childhood friend to all of you, and to lose it is just sad. Really sad. My condolences to all of you on your loss.

O.o since when did this happen and why has no one informed me of this? Well other than now I mean >.>;;; I'm kinda surprised. I wasn't an avid Toonami watcher and they had some good shows, but running for like what... 7 or 8 years I wouldn't have expected this. Damn it. I remember watching Yu Yu Hakusho and now Naruto (even though I'm not a huge fan of the fillers it's still interesting to watch). It was a hell lot better than that one Miguzi thing they tried to do, that's for sure. Still... can't help but to feel a little sad.

I wish I could relate more to this blog post, but I was never really a big fan of that anyways. I only watched it maybe like... once or twice but that was it. I still feel really bad that it upsets you so much though. Hey, atleast they are still going to show anime on cartoon network right?

    XOXO

Wtf? And they decide this when I'm planning to get Toonami on my channel?! Hm,there's no other channel in my country that has real anime to show, wether it's dubbed or not!

Hm,but when I was younger we had Yorin/Your Kiddin' for our anime, but that thing also stopped, just after a few years. (and they introduced me to Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon, and the first anime-addiction had started, lol)

Hmm, it's sad when things ends up this way, though I don't really understand why...

Well, let's all say goodbye and hug Toonami for the last time. ^^

Hmmm...it could have been the ratings...I heard that as well about the ratings and how they only cared about the money and such...I think I watched a video, someone was ranting on Ted Turner who is the owner of the Tuner Broadcasting Channels and such...I really can't say what the reason is, but you did bring up some great points...this is an amazing article Ms. Iruka Sensei m'am. ^_^

Though like you, Toonami is what made me an anime fan as well with Dragonball Z and such...good times...after school. Haha I want to say Midnight Run is what started me not going to sleep. XD *laughs* Would stay up late and watched that as well. Toonami won't be forgotten because it really have impacted other anime fans who started out with Toonami. When Toonami was during the weekdays Cartoon Network as a whole was in a golden era. They still showed awesome cartoons like Looney Tunes, The Tex Avery Show, and so many other cartoons. I can come up with a list. XD *laughs*

But I agree with you completely. ^_^

Such a sad video...I saw it after Tommy Bear told me about it I looked it up and seen it and watched it again when A-Town left a link in his comment. T______________T You stay gold too Mr. Tom Sir.

Thanks for sharing your views and thoughts sensei. ^^

I can't believe Toonami is really gone. I haven't had a TV for awhile so I had no idea.

I remember watching DBZ with the family during the Cell Games. And my sister watched Sailor Moon. My mother watched Tenchi. Toonami was the start of it all. It was great! This is sad.

Good article. You should get it published.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww man... The week of wierd bad annoyness continues! I remember watching Toonami everyday after school. I got out at just the right time to come home and catch the first show. Moltar was great! And it had bunches of shows I wanted to see again or for the first time.
I still like chibi Tom the best out of all the times. I remember when they used to show fanart between commerical breaks.

    This stinks.
