Drawing/Lent/Free Sketchs
Oh god.
I haven't been drawing lately (like for a month) and it is REALLY putting a dent in my skills (or what skills I DO have). Tried drawing today, FAIL. OTL ;w; I dunno, I guess I'll just be drawing alot of crap over the next while. So um.... yeah. :D
If you want me to draw a sketch or something.... hollar. I'll do it for you. Nothing amazing mind you, but still. I'll accept 3 at a time ('cause I can only upload 3 at a time) and when I'm done one, I'll fill in the next spot with the next username until I don't want to do this anymore. Ummm.... so, one sketch per comment. Don't comment again with another one until I've given you the first (else I'll skip it) and can you put this in your comment? It makes my life easier. =w=

Also, Ash Wednesday came. On... well... Wednesday. Usually I give up giving up. :D But this year I actually have to give something up. My parents asked (and therefore demanded) what I was giving up. With no idea, I blurted out: "Procrastinating!" Pause. "Excessively." Guess what that entails? GETTING MY G1. D: I don't want to drive (for the sake of the other people on the road... or not even close to it). But- but- I HAVE to learn. D: (Once again, I was asked and therefore demanded to.)
I also have to write my literacy test. In April. Because I was in Australia last year and missed it. I probably won't fail. But- D:
I wonder if I get the whole day off?
Now I remember...
I am starting to recall why I left theOtaku a year ago. I believe at the beginning of the shift of site design, I liked it quite a bit because it was 'new' and we had the option of worlds. However, art-wise (which was the main reason I was on this site) I became pissed off at. I now remember why.
- We can only post .jpg images.
- We can only post 3 times per 24 hours.
- We have an image size restriction.
- We have a file size restriction
The thing is, I understand the reasons for all of these restrictions. TheO is a small site (comparing to DA) and doesn't have as many servers or people to check over what's going on the site (comparing to DA). So, the .jpg quality is because it compresses the file more, but has terrible image quality. That plus the file size restriction helps to control how much data is on the servers. The image size restriction is slightly understandable too. It helps to make sure pages aren't stretched and that loading times for pages doesn't take too long.
3 times per 24 hours though? WHY? D:
I know its so that they can scan the images to make sure they follow the submission policy and to upload them, but... ;w; It makes me sad. I don't even know when my 24 hours are up. I wasn't paying attention to the clock when I submitted my third one. I can't recall if it was at 10pm or 11pm or- ;w;
-sigh-
I guess I'll just try uploading every hour or so until it passes through.

Yo I'm back~
Pretty much self explanatory, no? I think I originally joined theO back in '06. Not sure. In any case, this place is where I originally really got into drawing :D So I'm sort of glad to be back.
I hope to post and update regularly. >< I happen to forget and give up on alot of places. (Live Journal, blogger... ect) Hope to stay this time 'round.
