Here's a few short and EXCLUSIVE exerpts from "The Silver Moth"! They each depict a little of the personality of each character to help you guys out~! ;D
First is Allik (with a bit of D):
" Allik burst into a huge grin, shaking the flowers and laughing--So happy they lived again. “AH! Ah!” He gasped excitedly, showing D the buds again, seeming proud.
“Yeah, Allik, I see them--Pretty aren’t they?” D cooed.
“Ah!” He trilled.
“Oh! You wanted to swig, right?”
“Mmmmm…”'
Here's one for Inage (Some of Sen):
"“D! D!!” Sen’s eyes were full of tears. She turned on the older spirit angrily. “Inage! This existence is all he has left! He ran from the safty of the real world to seek something here! Now all of that--”
Inage sternly cut her off, “This has been happening to all Halflings who seek the selter of this world! They cannot survive, they live here in their spirits and slowly wither away, Sen! You knew this was bound to happen! D will soon become Allik-- A Transparent, unable to feel or speak!” His fist came down in a flurry, his eyes a fiery violet. “Do you really think that I don’t care about them?!"
Here's one for D and Sen: (probably one of my favorite scenes other than Allik's scene above this)
" Sen snapped her fingers, frustrated. “Darn, all you had to do was touch him. I tried that. I tried to make him stand, held his hand, talked to him, I even ki--” She stopped her words abruptly, blushing tomato red. “Um, Yeeeah… Forget it,”
D laughed playfully. “I don’t mind-- Ya‘ know he is pretty se--”
“Yeah, no,” She cut him off and he began to roar with a joking laughter. “And yes you should mind, that was weird…”
“Not minding here~”
“Whatever,”
“You taking on human sayings, now?”
“Well… They interest me,” She said matter-a-factly, avoiding his gaze.
“Then do I interest you?” He cocked his head as cutely as he could manage, which was not difficult.
“Don’t push it,” she pouted.
“But I’m still half human,”
“GAH!”
