    @GoDanceTheSound:

    Haha. Personally, I am a fan of the "we're going to die in 2012" thing, but I don't take it seriously. Jesus is going to come when Jesus is going to come, and hopefully I get to go back to heaven with him.

    I'm happy you found something that you truly enjoy. Isn't that a great feeling? I hope you get to make music as well. I'd buy your teeshirt, lol. (and probably the album)

    The thing about the internet though, is that you never know if the person's fifty or fifteen. Other than that, we do have it good. My mom constantly complains about how she had to go to the library every day and look in dictionaries and stuff.

    How are the grades? No failing I hope...

    Yeah, I need patience too, but now instead of impatience, I'm suffering from anxiety, because, I mean, who knows what day Jesus is gonna come? It could be tomorrow or fifty years from now. Everyone has a different opinion and different prophecies (like there's going to be a black pope, and all nations are going to use the same currency type of things) but the world is bad enough as it is. And the world was pretty bad decades ago during the Great Depression. We're human, and we're going to be selfish. I want to meet a great guy like Nevershoutnever, and I want to make music for Jesus and for fun. That's all I really want now. And I pray that we are given time to achieve our dreams, because God does change his mind....

    Haha, yeah, I know! It's like the only place you can find people like that is on the internet because you can like narrow down you interest, while in person you have to search really hard.... I found my penpal Cassy on a site called Purevolume.com, and there are tons of music fans on there. I tend to look for Christian music fans to friend. :) People I can relate to.
    Our generation has it so easy with the internet, don't we?

    @GoDanceTheSound:

    I replied to your comment, but I forgot to hit reply the first time.

    I was thinking about what I wrote in my entry though (not the comment, but the entry itself).

    I think what I meant about my dream of fairy-tale love thing, was not that I didn't think it would happen, I just - well, the easiest way to explain it is that I think it's not coming fast enough. Patience, you know?

    It'll come eventually if I want it enough, right?

    The longer it takes to actually happen, the more I get depressed about it. But I think to myself that everything happens eventually, and it'll happen to me.

    That's a more optimistic way for me to think. Not the most optimistic I would think, but fairly optimistic.

    Yeah, I knew what you mean by "moving out of Durham", and all that. I'm that way as well, but I'm not that vocal about it. Anywhere you go you're going to find people who are like ghetto-ass Durham. The joy in life is finding a place that's NOT ghetto-ass Durham.

    I'm not as low as to marry an alcoholic guy that's going to beat me. Hell no. He can live out on the streets for all I care. All I'm saying is that these people are 15 and are setting themselves up for failure by thinking all that's in life is sex and booze.

    I wish I could find people like your first three sentences though. I know I won't find them here (and if I do, they're probably crazy or on something.

    ILY TOO!!

    Sex and booze are inbred, Leanna Banana.
    There are guys out there who believe life is more than that, because it really is. There are guys who believe in love. One of these dudes is my human hero. Nevershoutnever is example #1. And um, Jesus, anyone?
    These kids at school, they're just losers, and they don't really care about the world around them. Heck, and besides, we're in Durham! People here are only about the gang life, selling drugs, selling themselves. Yes, I know these people who talk right next to me about their sex lives with 21 year olds and how they can get whoever they're talking to the strongest drugs in town! You're in ghetto-ass Durham. The world here is what they see. Now do you know why i want to get out of here? Sure, sex and drugs exist in other places, but I feel that LIFE here is only Durham. And it's not.
    So sure, you can toss your fairy-tale fantasy and resort to thinking life is being married to a sex-aholic drug addict in a wife-beater...
    Dreamers are the ones who get farthest in life.
    ILY (maybe i don't show it, but I do care)
