Bleach (ブリーチ, Burīchi?, romanized as BLEACH in Japan) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he accidentally obtains the power of a shinigami from Rukia Kuchiki. A shinigami is a Japanese death personification similar to the Grim Reaper. Gaining these abilities forces him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife.

thE Zanpakuto suRbeii... [suRvey!] .... Part 1...

huami22 : Hi! This is another survey from me, huami22.. hehe ^^ this the : "thE Zanpakutō suRbeii... [suRvey!] .... Part 1... "

Question #1 : Which Zanpakutō is the one you want to have?

Question #2 : In what form? Shikai (始解)? or Bankai (卍解)?

A. Ichigo's Zangetsu(斬月)?

External Image

Zangetsu(斬月)is still very large, though not as large as its original form. It is pointed out by Junta, one of Urahara's shopkeepers, that Zangetsu lacked both a hilt and a hand-guard. It has the appearance of a large, black cleaver, with the curve of a katana. Zangetsu has no sheath, and is usually wrapped in cloth which remains tied to the handle during use.

Shikai Abilities:

Getsuga Tenshou (Moon Fang Sky Chargeis a dense blast of reiatsu released from Zangetu's blade during a slash, or fired from the tip of the blade as though it were a gun. It also appears that Ichigo has the ability to manipulate the shape of the Getsuga Tenshou depending on the manner in which it is used.

Bankai Abilities:

Tensa Zangetsugives Ichigo incredible speed, such that it surpasses the "Flash Step", a running technique said to be the fastest in Soul Society. This is due to the BanKai actually sealing up all of his unstable spiritual energy explaining why his his katana is so small compared to his ShiKai and Zanpakutou in sealed state. The downside of this is that Ichigo has yet to fully master his BanKai, and as such, it tires him after using it for a good duration, causing his speed to reduce.Tensa Zangetsu also has the ability to fire a Getsuga Tenshou, though it is colored black instead of blue like the ShiKai form of the attack. This attack in BanKai form is called "his technique" by Ichigo, in reference to the Hollow which resides within Ichigo. Multiple uses of this technique causes Ichigo to lose control to his Hollow side.

B. Yamamoto's Ryūjin Jakka (流刃若火)?

External Image

Ryūjin Jakka (流刃若火) the most ancient one in Soul Society, as well as being the most powerful fire type, and has greater attack power than all other Zanpakutō in Soul Society. In its sealed form, Ryujin Jakka usually takes the appearance of a harmless walking staff. At anytime, Yamamoto can instantly remove that disguise to reveal its true form of a standard katana with a dark red handle and a circular handguard. Its power is so great that even the strongest of Shinigami are afraid of it even in its sealed form.

Shikai Abilities:

[BShikai Special Ability:When released, Ryūjin Jakka's blade is engulfed into fire. The aura of this weapon can disintegrate anything that Yamamoto waves the sword at, changing it into nothing more than ash and engulfing the surrounding landscape in flames. Only powerful fighters such as Kyōraku and Ukitake can resist it. Even in its Shikai, Ryūjin Jakka's power is enough to fight against two other captains' Shikai simultaneously. Unlike other zanpakutō shown so far, resealing Ryūjin Jakka does not deactivate any ability already used against an opponent, as seen in Yamamoto's fight against Aizen

Jōkaku Enjō (城郭炎上)this ability of Ryūjin Jakka creates a sphere of flame to imprison enemies.

Number One: Nadegiri (撫で斬り)this ability of Ryūjin Jakka creates a large turmoiling flame that possesses the characteristics of a physical blade cutting through solid objects and beings with ease.

Bankai Abilities: (Not Yet Revealed)

C. Soi Fon's Suzumebachi (雀蜂)?

External Image

Suzumebachi (雀蜂It shrinks into a stinger that is worn on the middle finger of Soi Fon's right hand. Whenever it cuts an opponent, a butterfly symbol called a hornet's crest (蜂紋華, hōmonka?) spreads from the point of contact. Should Suzumebachi stab the same location again, the opponent dies. This also holds true if an internal organ is pierced in the same location, regardless of the point of entry into the body.

Shikai Abilities:

Shikai Special Ability:Totally integrated into her natural abilities with flash steps, Suzumbachi’s ability indeed proves deadly. It is called Death in Two Steps (Nigeki Kessatsu), and in its first step, Soifon stabs her enemy with Suzumbachi’s blade. Not only leaving a rather deep wound, the attack leaves a stamp on the user’s body. Spreading from the center of wound, known as a Hornet's Crest (蜂紋華, hōmonka), this stamp becomes the target of Soifon’s second attack. If struck in this same spot that was hit the first time, the person will inevitably die and thus illustrate "Death in Two Steps." The crests are maintained by Soifon's will and are impossible to remove unless she wills it; when Yoruichi was still running the Special Forces, Soifon could only maintain the crests for half an hour.

Bankai Abilities: (Not Yet Revealed)

D. Unohana's Minazuki (肉雫唼)?

External Image

Minazuki (肉雫唼)is slightly longer than an ordinary katana, and resembles a nodachi The guard has an oval shape and the handle is red. Instead of tying it to her obi, Unohana carries her Zanpakutō over her shoulder by a rope strap or lets Isane carry it for her.

Shikai Abilities:

Shikai Special Ability:When unsealed, Minazuki transforms into a giant, flying, one-eyed manta-ray.It is large enough to transport many people on its back (at least a dozen, based on its size when compared to those riding it). Additionally, it can swallow even more people and transport them in its stomach, healing their injuries at the same time. When Unohana reseals Minazuki, it dissolves into green mist and reforms into the sheath of her Zanpakutō.

Bankai Abilities: (Not Yet Revealed)

Question #1 : Which of these Bounts is the one you hate the most?

Question #2 : Which of them is your favorite?

I. Yoshino Sōma (相馬 芳野)?

External Image

Yoshino Sōma (相馬 芳野)is a slim woman with long brown hair. Yoshino claims to oppose her superior and former lover, Jin Kariya. She resembles Uryū Ishida's mother in appearance, but it is stated that the Bounts can not produce life. Yoshino seems to be the exception to the rule, as it was stated that she could reproduce. Yoshino also bears a great resemblance to Ran'Tao, the creator of the Bounts. The reason for their resemblance is because Yoshino is a copy of Ran'Tao, since the Bounts are artificial souls that were created based on Shinigami souls. She merges with Goethe after Kariya removes her seal, and dies when she is impaled through the chest by Kariya.

J. Maki Ichinose (一之瀬 真樹)?

External Image

Maki Ichinose (一之瀬 真樹)belonged to the 11th Division until Kenpachi Zaraki killed the previous captain in a duel. Maki refused to acknowledge the new captain and left Soul Society, although he retains his Shinigami abilities. While in Soul Society, he shared many ideals with Kaname Tōsen. He then traveled the human world, but one day, while in a weakened state in a desert, he fell upon a hollow who almost killed him; the hollow was subdued by Jin Kariya, who allowed Maki to kill it. Maki swore his loyalty to Jin after that, breaking the vow only once to fight Kenpachi instead of stopping Ichigo and his friends as he was expected to. He helped Kariya and the other Bounts by infiltrating Soul Society and provoking Mayuri Kurotsuchi into helping the Bount enter. He is severely wounded by Kenpachi Zaraki during their duel, breaking his sword in the process. When he returns to question Kariya's motives and threatens him to help better the Soul Society, he is stabbed and tossed away by Kariya. What's left of his sword is destroyed when it inadvertently saves Ichigo from one of Kariya's lightning attacks, acting as a lightning rod.Despite not belonging or having a Shinigami Rank in Gotei 13 Maki was a captain level fighter, this is proven when he fights on equal footing with Ichigo Kurosaki or when he crosses swords with Toshiro Hitsugaya, neither him or Maki were able to push each other back.

Question #1: Which of these bounts is the one you hate the most?

Question #2: And which of them is your favorite?

E. Mabashi (馬橋)?

External Image

Mabashi (馬橋)is a redheaded male Bount, whom wears strange blue clothing, has a tongue-stud, and seems to be quite cocky in his speech and manners. Unlike the other Bounts, Mabashi isn't afraid to speak his own mind, even if his opinion and ideas do not correlate with Kariya's. His doll is Ritz, a small, mouse-like creature that can possess others. Mabashi is initially resistant to drinking the purified soul elixir created by the bitto, but is forced to by Kariya, and he quickly becomes addicted to it. Once the Bounts enter Soul Society, he uses Ritz to turn the shinigami on one another. While doing so, he finds Soifon and is defeated and killed when she strikes him in the chest twice using Suzumebachi.

F. The Oldest Bount, Sawatari (沢渡)?

External Image

Sawatari (沢渡)seems to be the oldest Bount, but this is merely a by-product of his eating habits. He has been consuming living souls for far longer than any other Bount, causing him to age. Like Utagawa, doing so was part of his secret plot to overthrow Kariya as leader of the Bounts. Sawatari is much like the stereotypical "cranky old man," looking down on younger people. He is usually seen sitting in a large chair that appears to be made of rock.

G. Ugaki (宇柿)?

External Image

Ugaki (宇柿)is a male Bount who has the appearance of a professional middle-aged man. He wears a shirt and tie, glasses, and has his hair combed to one side. Ugaki's doll is Gesell, a large monster summoned from shadows. Ugaki fights using guerilla tactics, using his light-projecting eyes to create shadows for his doll to attack from while he remains away from the fighting. Ugaki helped Kariya to develop the bitto. His doll, in its true form, was severely injured in combat by Renji Abarai's use of his bankai and went out of control, a turn of events implied to be at least partially influenced by Kariya.

H. Yoshi (ヨシ)?

External Image

Yoshi (ヨシ)has dark green hair and wears a purple traditional Chinese-style pao with beige pants. She seems to be somewhat masculine and intimidating. Yoshi appears very eager to gain power when Jin Kariya offers it to her, but she is also somewhat reluctant to be blindly following him. Her doll, Nieder, is a sword and fan connected by a chain, both of which are capable of speaking independently. Yoshi also utilizes her feet for kicking opponents in movements that suggest she is a wushu fighter.

Question # 1: Which of these Bounts is the one you hate the most?

Question # 2: Which of these Bounts is your favorite?

A. The Leader, Jin Kariya (狩矢 神)?

External Image

Jin Kariya (狩矢 神)is the leader of the vampiric Bounts. As such, he is, undoubtedly, the strongest member of the Bounts and is Ichigo Kurosaki's main rival throughout the Bount arc, having fought the latter three times over the course of the arc.(other info will be post next time hehe ^^)

B. Gō Koga (古賀 剛)?

External Image

Gō Koga (古賀 剛)is a large and muscular man who resembles a punkish biker with spiky orange hair. Even without using his doll, Koga has impressive physical strength, able to easily overpower Ichigo with just his bare hands. His doll is Dalk, a female metallic doll who can control her molecules and reshape herself at will. According to episode 83, Koga's real name is Claude Gauguin, and he lived in a European country in years past. He has lived for over 12 generations. After a falling out with Kariya over his plan to destroy Soul Society, which Koga found too extreme, Koga attempted to find and stop Kariya himself. He ended up fighting and losing to Tōshirō Hitsugaya instead, as neither he nor Dalk could contend with the extreme cold and long-range nature of Hitsugaya's Zanpakutō. He did not die, however, and was secretly taken by Yoruichi Shihōin to Rantao's home, where he was nursed back to health. Upon discovering that he was the last Bount, he apologized for the actions of his race, and Kariya in particular. He was last seen living with Rantao. No mention is made of Dalk's fate; however, considering that Bount are supposed to die with their dolls, it can be assumed that she either still exists in some form, or that Koga is merely an exception to conventional Bount rules, like Yoshino.

C. Hō (鵬) and Ban (磐)?

External Image

Hō (鵬) and Ban (磐)are child-like twin Bounts who work together telepathically and use their dolls (Hō controls Guhl and Ban controls Günther) to manipulate water. They attacked Karakura Hospital in an attempt to kidnap Uryū Ishida. They were defeated by a combined effort from Noba (whose plush form at the time afforded him immunity against the Bount Doll's power) and the newly arrived Ganju Shiba. After Noba used repetitive short distance teleports to knock Ban unconscious, forcing Hō to control both dolls simultaneously, Ganju destroyed their dolls with fireworks, killing the twins as a result.

D. Ryō Udagawa (宇田川 稜)?

External Image

Ryō Udagawa (宇田川 稜)Udagawa looks much like the traditional depictions of a vampire, and views all humans as food. His doll is Fried, a snake-like creature that can copy itself. He secretly plots to overthrow Kariya as leader by stealing his seal, but is killed by Maki Ichinose.
