Kuchiki Rukia has a unique, complex, and dynamic relationship with Kurosaki Ichigo. Her attitude towards Ichigo varies throughout the series. At times, she is a bickering adversary, and at other times, she worries about him and dispatches advice like a wise old sage. Most of their scenes together involve yelling and making faces at each other like bickering siblings. Despite these quarrels, the two have a deep understanding of each other, often being the only ones able to talk each other out of a funk.

She was outside, and she have been waiting for the sun. She was watching the tiny raindrops fell as it was being sucked by the dry ground. She reached out for the rain to fell on her own hands as well. She stared on it and deeply sighed. Then she cried her own rivers like the clouds did.
So many things bugged her mind. Why is life being unfair to her? She didn't know the answer. She sometimes thought she existed on earth but didn't seem to. She felt like she was being thrown by stones she wasn't able to catch.
Of all the people who treated her badly, someone made her look up to the silver lining. He always make her smile and stood up for her. He didn't left her side. He was a friend. A shoulder to cry on. More or less, she knew he owns a special place in her heart. A place no one can ever replace.
This time, she can't find the blue behind the gray clouds, she can't dry her own litre of tears. Until the umbrella that protected her from the painful rain came, she turned back and he was there, shielding her from it.
Last night, there was a Lunar Eclipse that occured. It was around 8:30 PM when I went outside to check for it. Sadly, all I saw was a bright, silver moon outcasting its rays at the nightsky. There was no eclipsed at all. Later that evening, it happened. The sun and the moon met.
If you're wondering why I included IchiRuki here, it's because I thought that it was connected with their story. Rukia served as the moon while Ichigo was the sun, when she dragged the rain out. :3
