so this is an update abut the three cats that live in my house(and you get to see what my old cat looked like as well). :3 there is only going to be one that you guys have already seen, Layla. She is the biggest, and youngest out of all three cats that live in our house, and she belongs to me. >w< She is also the fluffiest. SO ADORABLE!
Laylas ranking in the house would be that of a princess.
She is also the most tolerable cat in the house, and wines, where as Sam would growl and bite the hell out of you. Layla is some sort of mix cat. we think she's either a turkish van mix or a maine coon mix.
Next is Sam. Sam is the oldest and second biggest. She is a blue maine coon. Sam is the queen of the household and quite a diva. lol. Sam belongs to my dad, and my dad loves her. XD She was brought into the picture about.... maybe '08? Two years before my previous cat, Chester, passed away. When we first brought her home she was very tiny, and as she grew, so did her temper. i have scars from her from when she felt the need to bite me all the time (and when she was hungry she would bite your ankles. oh what fun T~T). She eventually grew out of it, and all is well until you touch her stomach. she hates that. Sam is also ubsesed with rubber. O.o I don't know how many goggles she has ruined by chewing the strap of them, so i have learned to keep them in my gym bag, where they belong.
Khalo is my mothers cat. She is cross-eyed and obese; we think it might be hormones because we feed her as much as we do sam, and sam is in very fit condition. I recently got a toy intended for my cat, but Khalo is playing with it a lot more then my cat ever does, so hopefully she'll lose a couple of pound (she is also very rough with the poor thing, so i have to buy a new one soon if i wanna keep up the playing schedule). :3 Khalo is a Siamese cat and is very much so a lap cat. she also watches my mom sleep which scares the crap out of my mom some morinings, lol. My mother named her Khalo after one of her favorite artist, Frieda Khalo. if you don't know who she is, look her up. X3 We also have to keep all the erasers up in the house or she likes to run off with them like a bat out of hell and then later eat them. v.v Khalos ranking in the house is like an aunt who is jealous of the princess, and because of that likes to hiss at her every now and then and get into a small spat.
Now, at this last part, i will be talking about chester, the one who passed in '10. lets see here... chester was 9 when her passed. He was a brown tabby and was fairly big for his breed. I loved him to death and couldn't imagine life without him. Chester was a tolerant cat, much like layla, and he was very introverted, but sweet (at least with me). he could have cared less about everyone else, and the look he gives strangers is much like Sasukes scowl. XD we have no idea how he died for the most part, we just know he was attacked by some animal and i was heart broken when we found him in the drive way... my brother took a really good picture of him a week before he passed and entered it in a photography contest. that picture is now hanging in my room. :3 weeks before my cat died, i thought a lot about what would happen if he were to die, and i feel like that somehow jinxed him, but thats in the past now, and there is nothing i can do to change it. i still have dreams about him every now and then, most are... strange. some are good; like i had one where him and layla were hanging out and having a great time. the less desirable dreams were about his death in different ways or seeing him already dead. those kinds of dreams i do not like at all.
i would show you guys pictures of all the cats but the pics are too big and i don't have the time currently to re-size them. i will do that at a later date.
