Before you join, let me lay down a few rules and explain how this is going to work:
RULES:
1) Swearing policy- Please, * out at least one letter. F-bombs should be limited, ie no Gamzee types, please. Remember, this world is open for anyone to look at. Including innocent little children. >_>
2) Graphics policy- Anything really bloody or violent, please put a violence warning either in the title or at the very top of the post before the actual story. Relationship wise, I'm not against relationships AT ALL. Just please keep it PG13, as are theO's rules.
3) Post style policy- You can type in any style you want (1st, 2nd, or 3rd person). If you want to move posting along by using other people's characters within your post, just make sure you keep them in character, and if the owner objects, YOU MUST CHANGE IT. This should help prevent tiny little posts. Thus, you should be able to post at least 2 paragraphs. Also, biggest part of this rule: BE LITERATE. I understand troll quirks, but please, please, PLEASE! Don't type with 6 year old grammar and spelling! I won't kick you out if you accidentally type "there" instead of "they're", and grammar Nazis, please be kind, but don't consistently ignore pleas to change!
4) Dealing with fellow role players- BE KIND! Grammar Nazis, as I said before, constructive criticism, no hating! Respect each other, no fighting in comment boxes, especially if its in the comment box of someone else's post! If you feel like someone is being hateful or being rude or such, don't be afraid to ask them to stop. If it continues, tell me and I will tell them. If it doesn't stop, I will ban them.
5) Character limits- Don't create any more than you can handle, and be reasonable. Probably no more than 2 humans and 2 trolls, unless I give permission otherwise. Also, please no quirks on the humans. I've seen it so much, but the human's don't really have quirks like the trolls! I understand if they type in, like, all lowercase but perfect grammar, or use smilies a lot, but nothing like Terezi or Vriska or Gamzee.
6) Most important rule- HAVE FUN~
EXPLANATION:
Humans-
When you begin, you are retrieving your SBURB game, however you do that is up to you. Hack for it, download it, go retrieve the disk, what have you. Everyone has one guardian, like Grandpa Harley, Bro Strider, etc. that you may or may not get along with. My character, Alex Parker, will be the first one in the game as a client, but we will make a loop to bring everyone in. Once the loop closes, sign-ups for humans will close.
(Interactions with trolls, please don't just make your own troll your human's "fairy god troll". Let them talk with others!)
Pretty much everything is up to you other than that, though. Just make sure you're not a lone ranger!
Trolls-
According to the original plot of Homestuck, SGRUB is not technically a released game like the humans, but written by Sollux with directions from Aradia. However, in this plot my troll, Allor Lotel, will be sending/handing out disks or downloadable copies as you please.
Trolls for the game should be focused on talking to each other. Later, when the game fails (because it will fail), they will be able to talk to the humans.
General-
Obviously, there will be screwy time shenanigans. Alternate timelines can be typed up, but should be relevant to the plot. Trolls especially, if you want to have two sets of timelines going, that's fine (implying that you can have an "in the game" timeline and a "post failed game, trolling the humans" timeline). If it gets too confusing, I will find a way to mark posts, or even move part to a different World and keep on going.
