No matter what happens, the most expendable asshole on the team must survive and inexplicably defies all logic and becomes immediately cooler and hotter while wearing the pants in season two.

Number 15 is my favorite. To that, I could add: "5 heroes against a villain willing to destroy the world? I got it... let's make a TOURNAMENT, and each hero gets to fight the villain in a solo combat!"
