I would have never thought that studying a language I love would become so depressing. And I don't even mean depressing in the sense that its getting hard to study (which it is) I mean truly seriously depressing. So I'm on the 2nd year of German language and culture and we have those two subjects that are so sad. One of them is German novel in the time from 1945 to 1980. I mean the novels by themselves are sad and depressing since there are topics like holocaust (which is absolutely horrible to learn about), hunger, war, disease, national socialism and so on. What makes it even more depressing is our prof. She is showing us movies that are horrible and show as in no moral at all and no tolerance and violence. It's just so frustrating. I have this subject first class Monday morning.. which means I'm all down all freaking Monday. It's depressing. Luckily is the semester over in a few days and I have to pass the exam and I truly hope it will get more positive as collage goes on. It's really tiring and exhausting.
