Well, keep your bullets out of his fruit and don't shoot the cashier until he's done please. Not to mention his tendency to lick strangers...if that isn't a quirk, then nothing is.

Weak Against: water and ice

Height: 5'9''
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair Color: indigo
Hair Length: short, with long bangs off to one side.
Eye Color: baby blue
Skin Tone: light
Build: athletic
Markings/Scars: One large scar, high on his upper right leg, close to his groin. Extends nearly all the way around his leg. Usually hidden due to its location.
Tattoos: none
Piercings: none

Appearance:Though skinny and lanky in appearance, Glyph has surprisingly strong muscles. A pinkish purple poisonous scorpion tail with a sharp stinger comes from his tail bone and his head is adorned with two small horns in the same color. He has long incisors and is usually wearing a happy go lucky smile. A strong blue membrane connects from his elbow all the way down his side on either side of him, forming his two gliding wings.

Full Outfit: His shirt doesn't have any sides so he can use his gliding wings freely. Instead, it is held up by a black collar around his neck. A red smiley face with fangs adorns the center of the shirt. His pants are jean like and a light indigo/purple in color. He wears a black belt to hold them up, and occasionally a black belt wrapped around his lower right leg three times that hides needle like weapons. The left thigh of the pants has a stylized image of a gligar sewn on. His shoes are metal tipped boots ending in a spike, and he wears fingerless purple gloves. Each glove has a metal plate on it which can extend into a blade for protection and missions.

Personality: Glyph can come off as very childish. This is due to his strict upbringing clashing with his freedom as an adult. Since he had so many rules instilled on him as a kid, he likes to live however he wants now, even if the rules are bent a little. He's generally very sociable and friendly, eager to make friends with strangers, and protective of those he considers family. He's relatively harmless so long as you don't piss him off. Glyph has a long long fuse, but push him enough and he'll show you why he's called the 'Yakuza Scorpion'.

When he's in this mindset, his personality becomes dark, cold, and frightening. He no longer cares about the safety of others, nor does he have any mercy towards his enemies.

Orient: Straight (No really, he is)
Rival: none
Family: Scissor Father (deceased, Diana his gligar mother (Deceased), considers the Nocturne Yakuza his family.
Relationships: (See relationship map)
Hometown: Clover City

Likes: Darts, playing, sit and spin toddler toy, being truly and honestly cared about, investigating things that make him curious, and licking strangers.

Dislikes: He's rather tolerant to most things, though people who are fake and brag about skills they don't really have tend to annoy him. He tends to pout when he doesn't get his way, though it doesn't usually last long. Threatening people close to him is an instant way to get on his bad side.

Fears: He fears being shut away where he can't see the sky or make new relationships. He fears being hated, unwanted, and ignored by everyone he tries to talk to.

Strengths: He's very agile and quick to dodge attacks. He moves in to deliver a sharp blow with poisoned blades, before retreating back in the blink of an eye. His accuracy is top notch and his parkour skills paired with his gliding wings make getaways fairly easy.

Weaknesses: Water and ice attacks slow him down, though he's actually a pretty good swimmer. All his attack moves apart from earthquake require physical contact, so he can't attack from a distance. Earthquake can only be performed if he has enough room to jump down from a high distance. He isn't a physical powerhouse, though his speed and accuracy tend to make up for this easily.

Background: Glyph was born to a powerful Scizor who began training him as soon as Glyph was able to walk. He was expected to take over for his father in a rather questionable business that apparently required high fighting skill. His father was harsh and often cruel if Glyph could not live up to his sometimes impossibly high standards. Glyph found comfort in his mother, a gligar named Diana, who loved him dearly and cleaned up his injuries from his father's brutal training.

As Glyph grew older, his resentment for his father grew as well. The scizor didn't seem to view Glyph as a son, but more of a tool that had to be sharpened before it could be put to good use. He didn't treat Glyph's mother very well either and started to attack her when she tried to help Glyph, no matter how badly he was hurt. Glyph was kept on a strict schedule and he did his best, not to appease his father, but to survive.

When Glyph was a teenager, he started to test the limits of his lack of freedom. He disobeyed his father, just once, and was put into solitary confinement, visited only by his dad for a one sided fight, then left in the dark to nurse his injuries. He wasn't sure how long he was kept there, but one day his mother opened the door instead of his father and the two tried to escape. They didn't make it. Glyph's father made his son watch as he killed his mom. Something in Glyph snapped that day and he finally became the thing his dad always wanted. A trained killer.

Glyph spent the next year tracking down all the people in his father's business and killing them off one by one, a silent killer who didn't leave much of a trace. It was during one of his personal assassination missions when he was approached by a stranger that smelled of darkness and nothingness. He had been impressed by Glyph's abilities and requested Glyph join his 'family'. He was the Giratina leader of a rival yakuza group and he held out his hand to Glyph, promising that with him, Glyph would have a real family and a home. Glyph agreed, but made sure to warn the stranger that if he got in the way of his revenge, he would die too. The Girantina merely smiled and nodded.

Life in the yakuza was oddly relaxing and Glyph found himself surrounded by quite the characters. Unlike his father's associates, these people were easy going and often tried to engage Glyph in friendly conversation or some type of game. He refused...but their efforts slowly glued together his broken self and Glyph discovered he was free of the chains that bound him. He was free to do something he had never been able to do all his life. Be himself.

With this revelation, Glyph dropped his vendetta against his dad's old crew and embraced his new family. Nobody would believe that such a carefree person came from someone who was once able to terrify someone with just a glare.

Now Glyph lives in his own apartment, being supported by the yakuza in exchange for his 'services' every now and again. He is their most skilled assassin...
