In celebration of Earth day, here's a brand new Contest! x333
and I promise it'll be the BIGGEST contest I'll ever hold! :D it will be held on here, theOtaku, DeviantART, and even YouTube!
The contest? Simple.
You must find something in the world that you feel needs to be changed. For some examples, Littering, child abuse, animal abuse, cutting down of forests, bullying etc.
Your job is to raise awareness of that problem so that we may be able to reduce this problem and coming to solutions~ ^^ It can be in any form you please. I will accept Fan Arts, Fan Comics, Wallpapers, E-cards, Essays, and videos. Also it doesn't have to be a serious piece of work. You can add any humor to it as you please. :D
NOTE: I am NOT judging if you are the best video/wallpaper/ecard maker/artist/writer. I am judging to see if you clearly state the problem and you give a clear explanation why and how we should fix the problem in you artist's comments/description, and if a lot of effort seems to be put into it.
Rules:
For Fan Arts or Comics:
1) It MUST be your own work!
2) You must credit the character's creator. If it's your own character then it is not needed. Just if you draw for an example Itachi from Naruto to spread your message, you must give credit to Masashi Kishimoto for creating the character. You can also draw another person's OC, but you have to ask them for permission first and then credit them in your description.
3) It doesn't need to be colored.
4) Even though I'm not judging on art, I will not accept a piece of art that looks like no feelings have been put into it. Not only must your description must support your cause, your drawing must be relevant to the problem and express your feelings toward it.
5) Like I said above, it can be humorous. However it must stay on topic.
For Essays:
1) It is an ESSAY thus it needs to be written well with complete sentences.
2) Correct spelling and grammer is a must!
3) No sentences like "I think we should fix this". It will effect it very negatively. Please use more complex sentences.
4) I ask that you please keep this serious. ^^" sorry
5) Try to keep your opinions out of it. Simply state facts about the problem and how it's effecting the world. Also provide possible solutions. If you feel that you need to express your opinion to get your point across more effectively, then I say go ahead. ^^
6) You must stay on topic
7) Or course, you it must be your own work.
For E-cards and Wallpapers:
1) All brushes, textures, backgrounds, or pictures that are not yours MUST be credited. Be sure to give the site of where you found it and who the original creator is.
2) Do NOT use another person's wallpaper/ecard
3) The pictures and/or text MUST relate to the problem you wish to raise awareness about.
4) If you want to use another user's art, be sure to ask them first.
5) Can be humorous
For Videos:
1) Must be your own work
2) You may use clips from video games or animes or other things but you must credit the places you got the clips from and name the show/video game. This also applies to any music used. please list the name of the song and who composed it.
3) Can be humorous but again, it must stay on topic.
4) If you film one of your friends or something, be sure to ask them first before you post it on the internet.
5) Length doesn't matter. But please don't make 10 seconds long or just obnoxiously long(as in like 28 minutes LOLWUT)
Overall Rules:
1) No yoai/yuri/ecchi/hentai/porn and yea you get the idea
2) No stealing
3) Everything that you use, you must credit the original creator/website
4) No collabs, sorry. ^^" Everything must be yours.
5) Effort is a must. If your essay is only one paragraph or if your art is messy and on notebook paper or something I will not accept it
6) Please tag with biggestcontest as one word.
7) Please also PM me when you have finished your entry. This will help me out a lot. ^^ If you do not PM me with your entry I will not judge it.
8) I will allow cussing in your work but it can't be a lot and also it cannot be used to insult other people, their beliefs, or race.
9) Please choose a serious topic. Don't choose "OBAMA'S OUR PROBLEM" or "KIDS ARE STUPID KILL THEM" or something. Because that's just stupid. D:< Our goal here is to help change the world for the better. If that is not your intention then please do not waste your time joining this contest.
10) This goes along with rule #9. No racism. Please be respectful of others
11) If you pick the same topic as another person, don't worry. I will still accept it. Just please do not copy down what they put or create something similar to their work. Make it as original as possible.
12) You may submit more than one entry however i will only judge one of them.
13) Please be sure to PM me about your topic first so that I may approve of it.

Grand Prize: Design a character for my series "At Wit's End"(even though I don't have a story for it LOLWUT) and one colored request
1st Prize: Create a design for an already planned character in my series "At Wit's End" and one colored request
2nd Prize: One colored request
3rd Prize: One lineart request
There will be three 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners.
There will be a 1st,2nd, and 3rd place for Fanarts and comics; essays; ecards and wallpapers; and videos
