Background: Susan lived in a large City, but was unable to make many friends because she was afraid of bringing people home to meet her abusive family. As a young teenager, the family moved away, and around age 17 Susan moved back by herself. She refuses to speak of her past, no one knows what happened to her family. She lives in an appartment on the edge of town. She claims to have 3 roommates, but no one has ever met them, and the only person she ever makes contact with is her best friend Tanya. One day she persuades Tanya to go on a trip with her, but somehow they end up falling through a portal to another world. Susan get's bit by a werewolf, and Wendell seeing her new strength wants to use her for his advantages. He curses her, turning her into a man, and saying he will not tell her how to break the curse until she helps him find his family who has been taken hostage by a dragon. He changes his name to James, and accepts the quest, learning to make new friends and do new things along the way.

~Wit: Friend, who unknowing of James' identity has a crush on him.
~Wraith: Overly Complicated Relationship. They don't meet until after the Gender Change, and the Female part of James is very VERRY attracted to Wraith, but the male part is homo-phobic. Either way, they get along really well, and are considered friends.
~Kaine: James thinks they are friends, unknowing that Kaine knows the truth about James' identity, and wants to betray him.
~Vynn: A Pixie that travels with their group for a time. Works for the highest bidder.
~Unnamed Bad Guy: Enemies (Obviously) He is the werewolf who changed her. He is kind of like an "Absent Father" figure, he always knows what is happening in James' life, and seems to be controlling it.
