A world run by me and possibly my other otaku friends... No idea what we're doing so don't blame us for the end of the world.... (yet XD)

btw: if i plan to take over the world... all anime and manga will be dubbed and translated correctly! if i'm bothered to do tht XD. :gg_wink:

Getting high on caffeine

Yes, i have finally been bothered to make a post.... Not that anything interesting will ever happen in mah life...

Yesterday, teh 25th of april, was ANZAC day here in Australia. The parade was like usual, except there were maoris this year. After that, some people went to one pub, others went to another, etc. But it was at teh depot that was weird. I'd already had about 6 cans of coke, so i kept drinking more cos i didnt know how long we would be at teh depot. There was a game of two-up running outside and there were people drinking everywhere you looked. Some RSL people came along and one of them had a guitar, which he was playing outside. That gathered lots of drunk people, and before you know it, you're being dragged in to do a really bad version of "The Gambler". One of the drunk men kept bugging me to sing "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, so I eventually did and he got me to sing with him in front of a bunch of people. After that, people started to leave teh depot and go to teh many other pubs in Kalgoorlie.

Which comes to teh point, that anyone who doesn't live in Kalgoorlie or Australia will think that we're all alcoholics, but we're not, UNLESS its for a good reason... and there's ALWAYS a good reason.

*for those of you that don't know heres a little dictionary.
depot = army barracks (some army barracks have a boozer or bar there as well)
two-up = a chance game that is good for gambling. usually involves a random piece of wood and five coins, as well as a spinner. the person chooses two coins and has to flip them with the piece of wood by throwing them. usually, if you get tails, you're out. if you get heads, then you stay in. if you get one of each, or ones, then you have to flip again. you get two warnings, usually for when the coins go out of the "ring/square".
