Hello fellow Otaku
You have just entered upon a world where my art is broken down.
I will refrain from calling it a tutorial, but instead a demonstration of different steps I take to finish my art.
I am still learning, so nothing I do is super amazing. In any case, I hope by creating this world it will at least be slightly inspiring. ^_^ And I think this will be fun.

X-Burner Eyes
And now, I've gotten to coloring the eyes. Just a few easy steps, putting in the color and then using the dodge/burn tool. I also used smudge for the shading of the white of the eye.
Having finished that, I've come across a major error in my piece. All in the pose. Tsuna's right hand should be facing you. His left hand should be behind AND tilted toward the ground for support. I haven't quite decided how I plan to fix it, but I will. I'll probably have to flip the picture, but that would involve fixing his sweatshirt's designs. ugh.. haha.

X-Burner Skin, Hair, and Clothes
First thing I pretty much always color is the skin. It's my favorite part usually. It's just kind of fun starting in on it. But it really is good to begin with skin. I know several other people do that. It has to do with the layering pretty much.

Next, I move onto the hair. Though, for long hair that might overlap a lot of clothes, I'd do that later. I'm not sure if this is how I want the hair to be in the final product, but I move on. You can always come back to stuff, y'know? :D

And then the clothes. This time around, the clothes were fun. I enjoyed shading. However, I have an inconsistent light source. -_-' I might fix that. haha

Stay tuned for what's next. If I choose to slack on my math homework, you might be able to expect it finished by tonight. lol.
X-Burner Lines
I felt like sharing the steps I take to create my art. I don't know if it'll be helpful to anyone, or maybe it'll be interesting. But other than that, I think I'll have fun doing this. :D So yeah. I dunno. XD
So here's the lineart for the first piece I'm sharing. I've "inked" it in photoshop and did my best to fix proportional problems from the pencil sketch if you saw that.

I don't ink the flame because I don't know just how I want to work that out yet.
