Hush, Love, Don't cry,
It'll be alright,
Hold me close,
As I administer the dose,
Listen to my lullaby of lies.

So, I have an update for my Sophomore Review........

I PASSED!!!

I'm so excited about that one! My professors were actually impressed with my work! I'm thinking about posting a gallery specially made for the Review pieces...I don't know...

I have most of my papers and other assignments completed for my Education and History classes. I've got maybe 2 or 3 more things to do. Also, I will have a job beginning July 1st! So I think I'm just going to remain on campus for the summer. During the month of June, I'll probably just do community service to get free summer housing. When I start that job, it will be work study, so I should get free housing for that, too.

Unfortunately, I've only got two more weeks of classes, and then May 11th begins Finals Week...Ugh, the dreaded Finals!! Hm...Let's see, I know I'll have to take the Yoga final (some of which contains Sanskrit), the Theories of Human Learning final, and the World Civilization 2 final...The Families and Students in a Diverse Society final is optional, but you do have to take it if you want an A in the class, so I'll probably go ahead and be an overachiever and reach for that A...Besides, if I do poorly, it can't hurt my grade...In both Sculpture 1 and Figure Drawing 1, I will only have a final critique, so no pressure there.

The day after Finals are over, I get to move into the on-campus apartments! And then that Monday, Maymester begins. It'll be 3 whole weeks of nothing but Education classes...I'm actually excited about it because I'll be working side-by-side with an art teacher at a junior high school. I've already met her and she seems really fun!

Oh, and at Room Selection on Tuesday, Celeste (my roommate and self-proclaimed twin) and I got into the on-campus apartments! It's a big thing because they're MUCH nicer than the dorms...In the apartments, we will share a bathroom with only 2 other girls, who we both know and love! And our other neighbor will be Mantha, whom I've known and loved since 8th grade. The apartments also have a full kitchen! The dorms only have a tiny, crappy, useless one...Anyways, we also opted for the 7-meal-a-week plan. We plan to take full advantage of our culinary skills and that full kitchen...We're also going to learn to buy in bulk...I'll probably end up just finding my way to the nearest Sam's Club and signing up for a membership card. My mom's got one, so I'll talk to her about it more later.

Speaking of my mother, I don't think she's too thrilled that I want to stay here for the summer. She's always had a bit of a problem with me being independent. But I'm 20 years old, and I think it's time to continue cutting on that umbilical cord! I began the process 2 years ago when I came to this university, which is a 3-hour drive from my house...At least it's in the same state! Well, I do feel bad about not visiting my parents very often, but this is how life goes! Parents have child, child grows up and learns from parents, child moves off from parents to lead an independent life. I'm at that third and final step of being a child...Though, I still plan to visit my parents over the summer. My mom's having that "empty nest" syndrome. I'm the oldest of 2 kids. My younger (I don't say little because he's bigger than me...) brother is a Senior in high school this year. Fortunately for mom, he's planning to attend the local community college for the first 2 years, meaning he'll be living at home. Then he's transferring to a state university. I'm currently attending a private university...Anyways, yeah, mom's got the "empty nest" syndrome...But she'll be fine. She'll come to enjoy the peace and quiet...Not to mention the amount of control she'll have over the remote control! My dad's a trucker, so he's only home on weekends...

Okay, now, for a complete and utter change in topic! I'm going to an anime convention this weekend! My boyfriend, 2 of our friends, and I are all leaving tomorrow afternoon, around 2:30 or so. I'm utterly ecstatic!! My fiance and I were going to go as male and female Ranma, from "Ranma 1/2", but his wig still hasn't come in, and if it doesn't come in by tomorrow, he's going as Kakuzu, and I'm going as Sasori, both from "Naruto". One of our friends is going as himself, as he is a character all his own. Our other friend will probably borrow whichever costume I don't use, as she's relatively the same size as me.

Oh, by the way, feel free to color my latest lineart!

Well, that's it for now! Stay classy, Otakuites!

Music: Um...None...I'm converting some AVI files to WMV

So, yeah, when I got back from A2F, I discovered my Media Player would no longer play AVI files. I tried updating my Player, but it didn't work. Then I found a way to convert the files!! *insert Final Fantasy victory music here* So that's what I'm up to right now!

Hm...Oh! I'm excited about this week! I'll be getting 3 packages in the mail from Amazon.com! 2 of them are Daku's presents. I bought him a polyresin dragon box and a belt buckle with a Celtic design on it. The other package is for me...It's something I've been searching for, and yet haven't found...UNTIL NOW!!! It's the original Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation 1! HELLZ YEAH, BOIIIII!!!!! I can't wait 'til it comes in!! I'ma be up in mah room, playin' it aaalllll niiiiight loooooong....

Well, A2F was freaking AWESOME!!! I got to run around as Sasori, whilst Daku ran around as Deidara. Well, he switched to Kakuzu at lunch...His Deidara wig was cutting into his forehead...Anyways...There was another group of Akatsuki there. Unlike us, they ran around acting like fangirls on CRACK!! They angered me. They kept running up to Daku and hugging him, exlaiming either, "DEIDARAAAAA!!!" or, "KAKUZUUUUU!!!!" All this AFTER he'd explained to them that I was his GIRLFRIEND...They kept stalking us!! I seriously wanted to hurt them...

Ok, so crack-addicted fangirls aside, A2F was awesome! I bought several things: a Sephiroth plushy, 2 Trigun dvds, 2 Adventures of Batman and Robin dvds, 3 anime mood hair clips (the sweat drop, anger mark, and "..."), and a FMA necklace that has the 7 Deadly Sins symbol on it (for Daku's Christmas present). It was so awesome!! Daku bought me a Kingdom Hearts necklace and a FFVII wallscroll that has Cloud and Sephiroth on it. I can't have them until Christmas...I also took a lot of pictures and video! They had a live chess match between Harry Potter (with Hermione as his queen) and Lord Voldemort (with Orochimaru as his queen). They were playing for the last boxset of Naruto. It was so funny! I'll include my favorite video clip from that chess match at the end of my post.

Oh...Mai...Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints!! Last night, at 6:30, I was in Daku's room, and my roommate Tobi calls. She tells us that our mutual friend Corey is delerious. We rush over to Corey's apartment (she lives off campus) and her fever is 102.2! We tried to get her to go to the ER, but since she was coherent enough to refuse, all we could do was give her Tylenol. I talked to my aunt (who is a nurse) and my mom both. I told mom what medicines she'd had before we gave her Tylenol at 8:00 pm. She'd taken 4 Day-quil gelcaps!! Turns out she was delerious because she had over-dosed on Day-quill! Me and Tobi stayed the night because Corey has a 4-month-old baby she couldn't properly take care off, let alone herself...There was no one else to stay. Her fiancee and her sister were both out of state. Her fiancee will be back tonight, though. Children, let this be a lesson to you:

~~~***DO NOT OVERDOSE ON MEDICINE***~~~
I officially have my schedule for next semester! Here it is:
~World Civilization 2---10:00 am to 10:50 am
~Figure Drawing 1---1:00 pm to 1:50 pm
It's exactly what I always wanted!! I can't wait!
I've got some interesting projects I'm working on in Ceramics. Well, one, at any rate. I'm going to make a small bowl with melted glass in the bottom. It's for the final research project. Oh, the fun I shall have!! I get to bust up some pretty colored glass with a hammer! Then I get to melt it into the bottom of a bowl I'm gonna make out of clay! Then I get to write a short paper about the process and how it turned out for me...
I need to post pictures of some of the things we've been doing in Ceramics. I think I'll do that here in a bit.
Well, I'm all super excited and stuffs! Today, at exactly 3:00 pm (U.S.--Central Time Zone), I shall embark upon the epic journey of losing my con virginity! Huzzah!! I'll be going with Daku, Tobi (Celeste Belle, my roommate), Sako-nee, Se-chan (Sekai Hatsu), Jacky, and Erin! We're going to Springdale to Arkansas Anime Festival!! I'm so excited, I just can't wait!! I get to be Sasori!! I have my nails and toenails painted black, my cloak and wig are all packed up (along with the clothes I'll have to wear under the cloak), and I JUST CAN'T WAIT!!!
On a more sobering note, I found out why the last two installments of the Akatsuki Commandents have not been added to my Fan Words collection. SomeGuy says he's not allowed to publish incomplete works, and as the Commandments are written as separate chapters, he can't publish them separately. So, I'll have to write up the Tenth Commandment and then post them all together as one work. 'Tis a challenge, but I shall overcome it in the name of all that is Crack Fan-Fiction!!
Well, I have new fan art up. Yus! But really, that's about all I have to say.
I got all my homework done! Huzzah!! Well, all the papers, at any rate...I still have two paintings I need to do for Watercolor...They're not due until this Friday, Nov. 7, though. Yay! I have free time!!
Speaking of Nov. 7, that's the day we go to A2F!! Anybody on here going to A2F? If so, hunt me down. I'll be Sasori, with those black, plastic glasses that you see emo kids wear. No, I'm not an emo kid! I actually need to wear them!! Anyways, I'll be with Tobi, Deidara, Konan, Itachi, and two people in purple t-shirts with yellow designs on the back. I'd love it if I could meet a fellow Otakuite...The con is in Fayetteville, by the way...
Hm...Oh! I got another chapter up for the Akatsuki Commandments. I'm not entirely sure if I want to make a tenth chapter for it. But you readers can certainly sway that decision! If you beg me to make that tenth chapter, in which Pein will issue the commandments, I will most certainly write it! Though, it might take me a while...
Oh...My...GAWD!!! I forgot to tell you about the weirdo people!! Yeah, they're plagueing our beloved college campus. They aren't students here, but they come on campus and verbally harass us anyways. They call themselves "juggalos". They paint their faces like demented clowns. They were inspired by that band Insane Clown Posse. Well, Halloween night, we nearly had a run-in with them. Me, Daku, and Tobi were walking over to the President's house with Sako and Sekai, and the juggalos were in the Walton Fine Arts parking lot. We avoided them, luckily! Sako was cat-sitting for the Pres, and so we were invited to come watch V For Vendetta. After the movie, when we were walking back to our respective rooms, I walked over some "blood" on the sidewalk. I nearly freaked out, but Daku pointed out that it was fake. Then we saw the Walton sign, and it was smeared with fake blood. These guys are getting to be such a nuisance! Oh! And then last night, me and Daku were going to walk back to my dorm to get his pizza pan (we'd forgotten it), but we heard glass breaking and people being loud, and I got scared and ran back towards Daku's dorm. We thought it was the juggalos, but Daku couldn't peek around the corner to see because he didn't want me running back to his dorm by myself...We told Sako later on MSN Messenger, and she walked over to the parking lot of my dorm, but when she came back, she said she didn't see anyone...And the worst part is, we can't call the police!! For the police to do anything, they must catch the juggalos in action. Unfortunately, when you have juggalos in your vicinity, you don't exactly want to whip out your cell phone and call the cops...You might possibly not live to see the cops arrive...
I finally have new fan art up, too. I've finally reached a total of 101 fan art pieces! Huzzah! *does the Sunshine Dance of Happiness* Maybe I should go make more wallpapers...Or fan comics...Maybe a card or two? Yeah, those departments are quite lacking...
