Another country in Epic is the small island country, Rixari. Rixari is probably the most primative of all the island countries. The Rixarian [ricks-r-e-n] people don't know about the world outside of their country. In fact, no one had ever set foot off the island until about twenty three years before Epic starts. While the Rixarians aren't very aware of the outside world, the outside world is fairly away of them but since Rixari doesn't really have anything valuable, they're left alone. They trade with each other, hunt, and fish. They really don't have any use for the outside world. Infact, they're fairly freaked out by it. Rixarians have florescent hair, luminous eyes, and shining light coffee colored skin. Their eyes look like they glow when they're mad because of these features and it sort of freaks other people out. So Rixarians perfer to keep to themselves and other people perfer the same. Rixari is a forest like environment for most of the island. It has one main villahe and a couple farms. The houses are well built and usually have two stories. The beds are set a foot or two off the ground. Rixari also has an underground bunker where prisoners are held. Prisoners and law breakers are hung, or hung and gutted. For minor crimes the person is put in stocks. Rixari is home to bears, deer, and jackels, so the Rixarian people are fairly strong. The plants are just average trees like maple and oak and ferns are very common. Rixarians worship the sun and believe that it'll live among them in a human body. When the sun god is in human form it is known as the Fire God. They are a tribal society with only two families having surnames. The family with the most power, the family of priests and necromancers, is the de la Requiem (of the requiem) family. They predicted centuries before Epic starts that the Fire God would be born into one of the poorest farming family on Rixari. That family was elevated as the country leaders and given the name kara Masou (of the Fire God). Rixari is a simple country to get a grip on. They worship the Fire God and will kill you if push them. They're flag is done in fire colors and has a crude comet on it.
