I think I’m gonna take it easy this week. Still not feeling well... been sick since last Thursday (as I mentioned in the last post) and haven’t really gotten my energy back.
Maybe that’s from the wacky sleeping patterns I temporarily adopted? Yeah, I think I’d be awfully tired if I went to sleep at midnight, woke up at two or three am, stayed awake until 8 am and then went back to sleep until noonish. That is, I’d be tired if I hadn’t been sick.
It seems that being sick gives you superpowers... I slept kinda like this Wednesday night, right before I had to go back to school. Although, unlike those crazy sleeping patterns, I actually slept from midnight to ten to seven, when I usually wake up, without any interruptions. Granted, that’s still not a lot of sleep--or really enough to get me through the day--but I managed to make it through school.
You’ve probably guessed that the title has nothing to do with this post, other than when someone shouts, “Whoa, Horsey!” they’re trying to make the horse slow down. Eh, I wanted to be kinda random.
Here’s a YouTube Lyric Video for The Script’s song, “Nothing.” I heard it a couple weeks ago on Pandora, liked it (literally as well), and forgot about it. After having listened to it five or so times, I’ve decided it’s one of my new favorite songs. (It will never, however, replace my all-time favorites like “Silent Lucidity” by Queensryche or “Butterfly” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation.)
(No, I am not technically old enough to know who Queensryche is, but, in fact, I am a huge 80s-90s fan--almost deceptively. No one ever suspects a thing! People can’t take me seriously when I start talking about 80s songs, because everyone I know loves artists like Bieber or Carly Rae Jepsen. Or someone like that.)
Ciao till next week ![]()
