Anyways! I hope you've seen my Challenge, Movie Night! I'm super excited to host my very first Challenge! I invited as many people as I could think of, but I hope a lot of other people participate!

I'm also excited about my dance concert tomorrow night (and Saturday too)... we had a dress rehearsal today and we got our costumes. I'm wearing a purple, ruffled tank, but we also had turquoise and red ones. I decided to take my glasses off during practice so that they wouldn't go flying (as they have a tendency to do so). The one advantage to being blind for the most part is that I can't see the audience. Haha!

Because of the spotlights, my teacher told us we absolutely have to wear some kind of eye and lip makeup. Not too happy about that myself... but I digress. Just have this uneasiness with makeup... *Elricz thinks she is therefore not a girl* I don't know... I'm getting used to the concept of wearing eyeliner (to my own chagrin), but the leap from using just a little bit of eyeliner to having to wear eyeshadow and lipstick is a bit too big for me. Yet I still manage to suck it up and wear the stuff amidst personal angst... rawr! *is making herself confused*

I've noticed that there's a very distinct difference from Art Block and Selective Art Blockage. I had to deal with some very serious and personal crap the other day, and I figured if I drew something (like Curtis/Christoph from Black/White 2) that would cheer me up, but I couldn't even pick up the pencil. I just didn't want to... and that made me even more upset. Art Block is just when I pick up the pencil and want to draw a bazillion things at once.

Weeelll... I must get going. Gotta shower, do my hair, whatnots... blah blah blah.

Cones, Cash, and Choreography

Oh boy... where to start.

My dog got an ingrown nail that had to be surgically removed... she's fine now, but we had to cone her to keep her from chewing at the bandaid. Even though she's technically my grandma's dog, I felt so bad that she had to go through this. She's my sweet little baby, and I felt like an abusive dog owner (well, technically not legally owner) and was afraid the vet would read my grandma the riot act. Surprisingly, the vet was pretty chill about it. She basically said, It just happens sometimes, you know?

On a good note... my friends are commissioning me for real! Forgot to check with them to see if it's okay to post them here for you guys to see (gonna do that Monday). Now I get to do a drawing of Kid Link surrounded by icons representing all the different games he's been in. So yay for pocket money!
I was planning on using that money to buy my grandma a Mother's Day present, but my friends couldn't all pay me this week.

Plus, my dance class is almost done with photographing choreographing (stupid auto-correct -m-) our dance for my high school Spring Concert. My brain is on choreography overload, and I don't even have a big enough space at home to practice. Rawr!

PROMOTION!!!

Sorry for the shouting, but I'm really stoked about getting promoted to Otakuite++! I've been waiting for this for a long time. I can't believe I get to host challenges now!

I promise I'll stop neglecting my requests. I'm in the process of getting paid for the commissions I got from my friends, and shipping the cranes off to Boston. I'll shoot for getting half of them done by Friday, I promise! I hate making everyone wait forever for their requests.

Gonna have to cut it short for now; I'm writing this on my dad's PlayBook again and my hands are killing me from the typing angle. I will say that I probably won't be posting on May 17th because I have a dance concert that night, but I'll make a post that Thursday so you guys have something to read from me. Gotta go rehearse the choreography right now!

Late-Night Thinking

Now that I've finally gotten a chance to sit down and check up on theO, I realized how much stuff I missed! Gee, it's like my whole backroom got swarmed with updates (which I always try to look at/read/etc); Not blaming who I subscribe to, but I just never realized how much I miss when I don't get a chance to logon for several days.

I missed a couple challenges too, but that was mostly because I didn't have enough time to draw submissions. Not with schoolwork, and my friends' commissions (to include payment negotiations), and school dance rehearsals and practice and choreography learning, and... plain old craziness. Including the craziness I mentioned in my last post about certain characters in the Pokemon anime.

I think I'm actually sleepier after getting more rest last ni--oh crap, forgot to do my PE/Dance laundry. And it's late. So I should go...

Fangirling to the Max!

I started waking myself up in the mornings on Saturdays so I could watch the newest season of the Pokemon anime. BOY am I glad I did!

Last week's episode introduced N (one of my absolute favorite characters of the franchise [of all time]), and I almost had a brain aneurysm from fangirling so much. His voice actor sounded just like I'd imagined him to sound like! And he acted just like he did in the game.

This week's episode introduced Cheren, the new Aspertia City Gym Leader. He had an exhibition match with Ash (and won with his Herdier). I almost had an even bigger brain aneurysm when I realized that his voice actor is Tom Haberkorn!!

This just makes me want to watch the anime until the series conclusion, which I'm told is a battle against Team Plasma and the newly-resurrected Reshiram. That just begs the question, Which is canon? Black or White? I'm thinking White (sadly), only because at the beginning of White 2 the goal is to get Reshiram since White's hero(ine) got Zekrom. Though I really wish Black was canon, there's nothing indicating either one is.

ONTO REQUESTS! asdfghjkl I feel bad for not being able to get requests done... I have the Toshiro Hitsugaya fanart done, and am planning out the Sora fanart, and am trying to research the Dirty Pair anime, and am trying to figure out if Jack the dog is supposed to be Jake the dog from Adventure Time... *looks up at tv* and am facepalming at the "Flashlight Friends" ad on tv. *facepalm times 2* Using that same announcer lady does not the product sell! And didn't she do the Pillow Pets (and lighted ones) and Seat Pets and Tummy Stuffers commercials too?! That company really needs to quit while it's ahead.

Getting back on tangent... I still have five spots open if you wanna make a request. If you made one already and want to make another, you can (given no one else has made a request in, like, weeks).
