Many people, like clueless101, are having a hard time deafeating the One-winged Angel of darkness. I have decided to help those who have not yet defeat him. Make sure you have Oblivion or Ultima Weapon equiped, I WOULD use the Ultima Weapon, but if you dont have it created, use Oblivion. Make sure you have maxed out your forms and equip the special skills they come with. If you dont have Final form, the fight is alittle harder, but you can still come out on top. Other abilities I reccomend would be Item boost(for those who don't wanht to use their Elixers), Rotating Slash, MP Rage, Relating SLash, Leaf Bracer, Upper Slash, Guard, Counterguard, Combo Boost, Aerial Finish, Trinity, and MP Haste, if you have it. For items, I would use either 6 Elixers, or Hi-potions when Item Boost is equipt. In the spell battlefront, you only need Curaga or Cura, and if you want to do an experiment for me, Firaga. When the fight starts, hit triangle to block his rush attack. Also when it begins, try to use Trinity affter he passes. If you do it right, you can take of 1 health bar. After Trinity ends, you have 2 choices, go after him and attack(high risk) or runaway. If you runaway, use the Wisdom form ability to do it, it can save your life. After that, he might warp, and 2 thngs will happen:
1: He will warp next to you and knock you in the air
2: He will warp to another pat of the battlefield
If he knocks you in the air, Use Relating Slashing when warps at you to start a mid-air combo. If he waprs to another part of the battlefield, get ready to use Guard. If you time it right, you can block all of his attacks, and with Counterguard, start landing your own hits. Repeat the process of using Trinity when you need to, it is a great way to weaken him. After a while, he will summon balls of darkness to home in on you, and that is where I want you to try the Firaga experiment. If it works, you should be able to knoc the darkness away. Should you see him rising into the air, Use Valor form and Master form abilities to stop him. This a hant that can take away all your MP and HP. Once your next to him in the air, attack quickly. The other new attack is when he raises his hand. Run. The Firaga Potion can really do some damage, but if you are far away enough, you can heal yourself and not get hurt, or if you feel daring, use Trinity. Aftr he is down to 4 or 5 health bars, he surronds himself in darkness. This is the hardest part, for he can do mre damge, has a new attack, and he attacks faster. The new attack, Meteor Rain, is devasting. This is where the ability Glide comes in, if you have Final form. If not, just try your best to jump over the meteors. Don't try Trinity when he is using meteor. He is out of range, no matter what. When its over and hes back on the field, use Trinity. If you use the strategy sad above, you can easily defeat him... O.K., well maybe not "easily".
