Peacemaker, The first page

The night is crisp and clean, just like any night he had ever smelt before. The night was alive and well with so many lights, so many people running around in the dark. But he couldn’t blame them; the night was his favorite element as well. Another breeze had passed the watchful eyes as the leaves danced to the sound from below, the moon on the ocean was twisting and turning as if possessed by a demon, all of nature was enjoying the night. There was nothing to celebrate though, the end of war was not over till every man on the face of the earth had dropped dead and could no longer use weapons. He began to reminisce about the times he had in the previous countries. So much life was in those hills and towns, so much energy, so much violence, no more. This town was soon to be given true peace as well, even if it meant burning up all of their anger from house to house.
He watched the town play once again, following people with his stare as they scattered into their little personal sanctuaries. One woman he happened to be watching kept randomly walking around as though there was no real destination in her walking. Soon, three guys came and began to follow her down the streets. She began to move even faster. This seemed fairly amusing to watch and so he decided to follow in the shadows as well to see how far the little game of cat mouse would go. One of the chasers pulled out knife, seemed to give the others orders, and the three split up. “This looks like unfair play” the man in the dark whispers to the shadows, “how about we even the odds”. His smile swept off and spread to the darkest corners, trailing the others that had just barely left their boss. The shadows were formlessly moving across the surface of the streets, gaining momentum as the time went on. He went on to watching his two victims as the void darkness took them into the realm of nothingness, to be replaced by all of the main elements it took to make each one of them. Now it was time to watch the final event, his legs swept in time with the winds chant and silently, he transited into the dark corner the man was chasing the girl into. The girl hit the wall hard, and he found this his chance to enjoy some of the energy in the air. He shadowed her, making it seem like she disappeared into the wall. The man looked around bewildered, he had had her just right there, and she couldn’t have just disappeared. As he walked forward, a feminine asked “So, who is it I am considering as my next meal? What name do I get to hear screaming as you disappear from life’s flow?”. “Who are you, show yourself or I will make your death more painful” the man said with a trembling voice. “As you wish”, the voice was deeper, much more in the form of a man. He appeared in front of the trembling figure, “Is this really what you want?” A smile appeared in the pupils of his purple eyes, and the other nameless features were gone. The scared man began to swing the knife wildly, not noticing what the landscape had changed into. There were no longer buildings, just a total ecliptic plain along which the floor and sky could not be identified. “You are a violent child of dirt, that much is certain. So much pain and suffering you must have caused, so much violence you’ve dealt. The truth is that the world seeks peace, and you aren’t needed to fulfill that dream. This is the end of you, no need for last words, no one wants them. Good bye”. The man stumbled, but there was no floor to catch his fall, he went nowhere. He began to suffocate for there was no air and lost his life’s essence.
The air returned to the night, and left the woman in the corner, blind and unable to cry anymore.
