So my Civics teacher starts going on about how many police officers, firefighters, teachers and other county paid employees can't afford to live in the county that they work in. And I raise my hand and go "But they knew what they were doing when they took the job. They can't blame the county for not paying them enough when they took the job knowing full well what the salary was going to be." And she just looks at me, like I'm some heartless bitch that has no sympathy for people who risk their lives to protect us. Well~ maybe they'd be able to afford to live in the county if our county alone hadn't donated 3 million dollars to HILLARY CLINTON OF ALL FUCKING PEOPLE's campaign. Yeah. For having on of the best education systems in the nation, our county is stupid.
Also in Civics, we were reading these Scholastic current events magazine things, and I was looking at an article that was talking about how all of the illegals have been leaving Arizona and either going back to Mexico or just leaving the state since state officials have been cracking down on them. But anyway, this whole illegal immigration thing has been bothering the hell out of me lately, so I was just like...why can't all the other states 'cept Texas(we need cheap labor at the oil drills so gas prices don't get even higher) do that? When you think about it, our economy has been getting worse and worse the more you hear about the growing number of illegal immigrants, and while the original illegals may be hard working and humble (I'm generalizing here), their kids are in gangs and getting in trouble with the law all the time, not to mention the fact that the LEGAL citizens are paying for the ILLEGALS education and overall life, since undocumented NON-citizens don't pay taxes, but their kids, who were born in the US, ARE citizens and still get to go to school. DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU'RE FUCKING DOING FUCKING LIBERAL CONTROLLED CONGRESS??
