Thousands of years ago, in a land whose name is now forgotten, a great emperor ruled. Though he led his land well, he was a cruel man who allowed none but humans into his borders. Even then, those who entered, never returned. He enslaved his own people. One day, the Empress of the neighboring kingdom finally grew fed up with his actions. She was a kind ruler, allowing all into her lands no matter who or what they were, and she would not stand to deal with his cruelty any longer. She gathered an army formed of all kinds and led an attack against the evil emperor. The empress was slain in battle, but her army would not be defeated. A great Sapphire Dragon took her place and lead the army to victory over the other land. The two lands became one, gaining the name Vithaczildejiil, meaning 'a land from two' in Draconic. Thus says the legend - which came to be known as the Legend of the Sapphire War.
Welcome to the Dragon Chronicles! Here you may create up to five OC's for yourself (or take a premade character) and become a part of the society of Vithaczeildejill (VI-thA-see-zEal-day-gIll). You will take part in missions/quests, compete in 'epic' contests, travel from one side of the kingdom to the other, and make friendships that will withstand the tests of time. Be sure to read the ENTIRE intro for available races/species and rules. Thank you.
