Welcome to the Adventure Library, the gathering place for Dungeons and Dragons-based adventure groups here on theO. Here, you can join a game and get relevant information on past session happenings and other similar ventures (World Name and this intro subject to change). Have fun!

Session Time Planning

Mkay. So most of you all have or have started your characters. The next thing that I'd like to do is cement a time and place for playing.

Now, it would be easiest for everyone to meet and play in Chat, but since we all have AIM, it's also a lot more feasible to create a group room on AIM.

There's also the day to take into consideration. I realize that there's school coming up, as well as work schedules (and time differences) to think about. Therefore, what I'd like you guys to do is post in the comments an exact preferred time and place where you all want to play. Once we've got that, we can see which times overlap and we can whittle our way down from there.

Thanks!

EDIT: What do you all think about having two sessions per week, one on Thursdays and one on Saturdays? People can choose which one to participate in.

Character Creation and Q&A Session

Since I've received a good amount of interest, I'm going to go ahead and say that we can move on to character creation and whatnot. Since most of you guys are available on the weekend, I want to set this up so everyone can come (although I know that's hard for you, Ichigo, with the time difference), so I'm thinking about doing this either Friday, July 30 or Saturday, July 31 (which is also when Video Games Live airs on PBS, check your local listings :V) starting around 7:30 p.m. People can come in at any time during that period and get started making characters or ask any questions they have about anything D&D-related.

EDIT: Okay, so people are doing things on certain days, BUT, since I have no life, I am willing to hold sessions on both the 30th and the 31st. We can hammer out a play schedule during/after that.

Everything you'll need for the session follows:

Character Sheet (You'll need to register for the site, but this is the most easily accessible interactive sheet I've found.)

Die Roller

3.5 Player's Handbook (PDF file, ~21MB)

If you have any questions, please post them here. Thanks!

Interest and Planning

So. The basis of this post is for people who are interested to post in the comments, along with a preferred time they would like to start adventuring.

For those that are new, please be advised that before we start any campaigns, there will be a group session where I'll help with character creation and any questions that you may have about playing. There will also be a practice encounter, so people can get used to the battle system and the like. Also, please note that this potential game will be run under 3.5 Edition standards, not 4th Edition. (Depending on how long the campaign goes, there may be a 4th Ed game in the future.)

So please post if you're interested with a time preferred. The current start time and day being considered is Saturdays at 9 p.m. Eastern.
