Walking around her office cleaning and picking up, Nori thought to herself about the events of the day that were reported to her. Why was I instructed to stay in my office during the sentencing for 10th Division; 8th Seat Ashimitsu Tsu...

Rumor Has It:

Nori sat in her office doing the daily task of paperwork that needed to be completed. While she sat reading over one of the pieces a knock came at her door.

“Enter,” she told them in a meager tone as she paid mind to the paper she was reading.

She did not look up as the door slid open and a body stepped into the room.

“Captain,” Izuru said bowing to her.

She looked up from the paper to Izuru with a smile. “Izuru? What a surprise. Is there something wrong?”

He seemed a little uneasy as he stood before her. She put the piece of paper down giving him her full attention.

“There has been rumor floating around the barracks; among other places. It seems some of the squad 3 members are a little troubled over it.”

Nori lends forward folding her hands on top of her desk and smiled at Izuru. “A rumor you say?”

She gestured for him to close the door and take a set in front of her desk. Izuru did as he was told and sat down in the chair before her.

“May I ask what this rumor is over?” Noir asked him.

“Captain Hitsugaya.” Izuru told her almost at a whisper.

Nori nodded. “I have heard many things of this captain. All of them good things, but then there are the bad rumors as well. Either way. I; nor you, should fall prey to rumor. I am sure whatever it was you heard there is good reason for it to have happened. If it happened at all.”

“It is said that the seraph is back with Aizen in Las Noches.” Izuru said.

“Let me ask you, Izuru?” Nori stood from her chair and walked toward Izuru. “Is there a spy in Las Noches?”

Izuru shook his head. “Not to my knowledge, Captain.”

“Then how does anyone know this for a fact? Again. It is only rumor.”

Izuru nodded. “Yes Captain.”

Walking around behind the chair Izuru occupied, Nori nodded, continuing around back to her desk. Her arms were folded behind her, one hand cupped into the other.

“Tell the squad members if there is anymore talk of this they will deal with me personally.”

“Yes Captain.”

She turned once behind her desk and looked at him.

“I will not tolerate the gossiping; especially about another Captain or officer serving in the Gotei 13. If they have something they would like to talk about tell them to come see me. I will keep them so busy with work the only thing they will be talking about is what a bitch their captain is.”

Izuru’s eyes widened at her last statement. “Y…yes Captain. I will inform them of this.”

Nori nodded at him and pulled out her chair to sit. “You're dismissed, Lieutenant.”

Izuru stood and bowed. “Yes Captain.”

He then turned leaving the room and Nori to finish her paperwork.

Picture Of Me:

So everyone would know what I look like I had a picture taken of me today. I do hope you all approve. I am not one that likes to have my picture taken *smiles* ...

Settling In:

Nori walked into third division’s office. It was tidy and very clean; she was pleased to see lieutenant Izuru kept such an organized and clean work space. She was able to find things at ease as she walked around the office familiarizing herself with the office. Hearing a knock at the door she turned looking its way.

“You may enter.” She said in her natural mild tone.

The door slid open as she saw her lieutenant, Kira Izuru standing before her. He entered the room bowing like a doll bent in the middle.

“Captain Mutsu, it is a pleasure and an honor ma’am.”

She laughed softly at his uncomfortable approach toward her.

“Take it easy lieutenant Izuru; there is no need to be so tense. I am not some uptight bitch. I like a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Though, I do like a tight ship and will not tolerate slackers, but there is no need to be a stiff board around me.”

Izuru’s eyes widened at her choice of words. She looked so prim and proper he would have never expected that.

She laughed lightly again looking around the room and smiled.

“And from what I have seen so far of the division and my office; you have been doing a great job Lieutenant.”

Izuru bowed slightly. “Thank you ma’am, but you must know it is not just my efforts that have kept the division running so smoothly. All the members here have done their part since the absents of...”

Izuru trailed off turning his head looking off in the distance. Walking over to him Nori placed a gentle but firm hand to his shoulder.

“No need to explain.” She smiled softly looking into his eyes, “and let s drop the ma’am stuff. You make me feel really old.”

Izuru smiled with a nod. “Yes Captain.”

“What do you say to a tour?” Nori asked him.

“It would be my pleasure, ma -- Captain.”

Nori laughed under her breath and gestured toward the door for him to lead the way. Exiting the office the two headed out on their walk around the division.
